YSB Volunteer Spotlight!🩷🤎

We would not be able to operate at the capacity that we do at each session without our volunteers. They are an invaluable piece to our program and are very much appreciated.

We would like to spotlight Takiesha this month. Kiesha is a founding YSB volunteer- having been with us since the very start in 2019.

She is one of the first ones to raise her hand when it comes to volunteering for different events outside of our regular YSB sessions.

Kiesha we appreciate your enthusiasm, willingness to show up for our young ladies, dedication to our mission, and all that you bring to our program.

✨ COHORT 2 IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! ✨

We had an amazing start to our new program year this past Saturday, September 19th! 💕 Our Senior girls came ready to engage, share, laugh, and get excited about what’s ahead.

Our first session focused on Mindfulness, Mindset & Outlets — exploring different ways to reset, manage stress, clear your mind, and simply take a moment for yourself. 🧘🏾‍♀️📝🎨🎶💃🏾

From journaling and painting to breathing, exercise, meditation, music, and dancing, we talked about how your outlet can look different from someone else’s — and that’s okay!

The girls also shared ideas for workshops they’d love to see this year, including some favorites they’d like to revisit. And of course, we had a fun icebreaker to kick things off! 💗

But one of our biggest highlights?

🎉 100% RETURNING PARTICIPANTS FROM COHORT 1! 🎉

Every young lady who registered for our first cohort returned for Cohort 2! We’re so excited to continue this journey of confidence, connection, self-love, and growth.

And we’re just getting started! 💕✨

✨ YOU’RE SO BEAUTIFUL 💕 ✨

This past Saturday was our VERY FIRST SESSION, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start! 🥰

We talked, laughed, shared, and got to know so much more about one another. 💗 The girls created their very own books, “My Shape, My Story,” where they had the opportunity to express who they are, how they see themselves, and what makes them uniquely beautiful. 📖✨

And of course… we had to socialize over some pizza for lunch! 🍕💕

I am SO excited about this cohort and all the memories, conversations, creativity, and growth that are ahead of us. Every Saturday is another opportunity to remind these beautiful girls that there is so much beauty in simply being YOU. 🌸

Here’s to an amazing year with You’re So Beautiful! 💕✨

I can’t wait for every Saturday to come! 🥰

✨ WE’RE BACK! ✨

On Saturday, September 19th, we proudly welcomed the young ladies of You’re So Beautiful, Inc.’s Cohort 2! 💕

And what a way to begin!

Our registration has more than doubled since our first cohort, and we’re excited to have a wonderful group of facilitators joining us throughout the year. The energy in the room was everything we hoped for as our young ladies came together, got to know one another, made new friends, and began building connections.

Our first session was all about getting comfortable, getting connected, and getting to know ourselves a little better as we explored Mindset & Outlets and the beauty that comes from within. ✨

And of course, we couldn’t end our first session without a little fun! Our first Power Hour brought the Junior and Senior Rooms together for a friendly game of Junior vs. Senior Charades! 😂💕 The competition was lighthearted, the energy was fun, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our first day together.

Cohort 2 is officially underway—and we have so much more in store! 💗

Here’s to another year of confidence, connection, self-love, and growth.
