We’re still feeling the Earth Day energy!

Thank you to everyone who came out to say hi, stopped by our tables, grabbed a snack, asked questions, or just showed love for Haven’s Harvest across our Earth Day events this past weekend. And a HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers who showed up —rain or shine— to help us make it all happen!

And an extra shoutout to our Rock to Rock riders! Your dedication, energy, and commitment to our mission mean so much. You’re helping us move closer to a future with less waste and more full plates 😉

Thank you to our legislative champion State Representative Al Paolillo for helping us connect with fellow legislators at the Capitol and for being a strong advocate for policies that reduce food waste and strengthen food access in our communities!

Get ready! During the month of February, all Bloomin' 4 Good bouquets purchased from Stop & Shop on Whalley Ave will directly benefit Haven's Harvest! For each bouquet sold, $1 will be donated to support our mission of building community and keeping good food out of the waste stream.

We’re incredibly thankful to The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven for helping make our new walk-in cooler possible!

This investment strengthens our infrastructure and allows us to safely store more recovered food—meaning more good food saved from the waste stream and more meals shared with our community. It’s a behind-the-scenes upgrade with a huge impact on our daily operations and long-term growth.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us build a more resilient, sustainable food system for Greater New Haven.

With 2025 coming to an end, it’s only right to share an impact update—and this graphic doesn’t even include the numbers from 2025, our biggest year yet!

As proud as we are of this work, you should be just as proud. Together, we’ve kept more than 10 million pounds of good food out of the waste stream. That impact belongs to every volunteer, donor, partner, and staff member who shows up day after day to make our mission real.

We’ve never strayed from our commitment to building community and reducing food waste—and the unwavering dedication of our team and partners is the reason this system works.
