Hope in Action was honored to do a donation drop off to the Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse.

For families facing long hospital stays, unexpected diagnoses, and countless hours at their child’s bedside, having a safe place to stay, a warm meal, and everyday necessities can make an overwhelming journey just a little bit easier.

This week we dropped off craft supplies, clothing items, and toys.

Donations like these are so important because they help ensure the Ronald McDonald House can continue providing comfort, necessities, and support to families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Hope in Action is grateful for the opportunity to give back and support the incredible work being done for families in our pediatric community. 💛🎗️

Today was such a special day as we were invited to attend New Hartford Pop Warner football game and receive beautiful baskets the cheer teams organized and created. These baskets represent hope, kindness, and love. We are incredibly grateful for the time that went into putting each one together.

It was especially meaningful as two of our local Hope in Action families who are currently in treatment were honored on the field.

A special thank you to all of the team members, football players, and cheerleaders who proudly wore gold bows and gold socks during today’s game to help raise awareness for September — Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Your support helps shine a light on pediatric cancer.

As September comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us throughout Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Today we were blessed to drop off snacks for our carts to Upstate Pediatric Cancer Center in Syracuse.

To our friends, family, and supporters who purchased items from our Amazon Wish List — we are truly grateful.

After receiving treatments in clinic all day, a snack can make such a difference for a child and their family. It may seem like a small thing, but to a family going through one of the hardest times in their lives, that little bit of comfort means so much.

And we’re not stopping here! Our Amazon Wish List will continue throughout the year. If you would still like to help, there are many items remaining on our list that help us! Every single donation makes a difference.

It is with unimaginable sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our Hope In Action family has lost one of our own this morning.

While cancer may have taken Levi from us, he never lost his battle. He fought every single day with incredible bravery, strength, and courage. He showed us what it truly means to be strong, and he inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Levi’s journey touched so many lives. The impact he had on his family, friends, church, and everyone around him will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are absolutely broken for DeMatteis family. There are no words that can take away the unimaginable pain of losing a child. During this heartbreaking time, we ask our Hope in Action supporters and community to please keep Levi’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

Fly high, Levi. Your memory will forever be a part of Hope in Action 🕊️🎗️💚🥑🙏🏻

✨A Special Request from Hope in Action ✨

We are asking our supporters, followers, friends, and our entire community to please keep some of our Hope in Action families especially close in your thoughts, hearts, and prayers this week. 🙏

Our pediatric cancer community is being hit with some devastating news right now, and one of the families we love and support are facing incredibly heartbreaking news. We may not be able to share the details, but please know that this family needs an extra amount of love, strength, comfort, and support right now.

Also this week, one of our cancer kiddos will be heading into surgery. We are asking everyone to send extra prayers, positive thoughts, and good wishes their way for a successful surgery, a smooth recovery, and strength for their entire family.

We know the power of a community coming together. So whether you pray, send positive thoughts, light a candle, or simply keep these families in your heart, please take a moment this week to lift them up.

If you’re able, please share this post and help us create a wave of love and support for these families. They may not know every person who is thinking of them, but we hope they can feel just how many people are standing beside them.

No family should ever have to face the hardest moments alone. 🎗️
