At Hope in Action, we believe that no family should face pediatric cancer alone. Today, we are honored to donate toys, crafts, and personal hygiene products to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Syracuse.

When a child is battling cancer or another serious illness, families often spend days, weeks, or even months away from home. These donations help provide comfort, entertainment, and essential everyday items during an incredibly difficult time.

The toys and crafts offer children moments of joy, creativity, and distraction from treatments, while personal hygiene products help ease some of the daily burdens families face while staying close to their child’s bedside.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the Ronald McDonald House and these courageous children and their families. 🎗️

Hope in Action had the privilege of delivering a special get-well basket to one of our incredible teenage warriors. While the journey through pediatric cancer is never easy, we hope this basket brings a little comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that she is surrounded by a community that cares deeply about her.

Every child and teen facing cancer deserves to know they are not alone. Through the challenges, treatments, and difficult days, we want our families to feel supported, loved, and uplifted.

This week, our hearts were filled with gratitude and remembrance as we honor the life of a very special little boy whose courage and light touched so many lives.

On what would have been Arlo’s birthday, the loving students at Clough Pre-K School, their families, and amazing staff came together for a beautiful way to honor him by doing a walk fundraiser. Their steps were taken with love, remembrance, and purpose — celebrating his life while raising funds to support Hope in Action and local children bravely battling pediatric cancer.

This walk was more than just a fundraiser — it was a powerful reminder that even the smallest footprints can leave the biggest impact. Through kindness, compassion, and community, Arlo’s memory continues to inspire hope and help make a difference for children and families facing the unimaginable.

To everyone who participated, donated, and supported this meaningful day, thank you for carrying Arlo’s spirit forward and showing our pediatric cancer families they are never alone.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Bird family for their love, strength, and generosity in honoring their sweet little boy’s memory in such a meaningful way. We will continue to honor Arlo’s memory and carry his spirit with us always. 💛🎗️

Hope in Action is honored this week to provide snack donations to Upstate Pediatric Cancer Clinic in Syracuse for our snack carts. During long treatments, hospital stays, and difficult days, something as simple as a snack can bring comfort, a smile, and a small sense of normalcy to a child battling cancer.

Our snack carts are filled with love and support for these brave warriors and their families. Whether it’s a favorite treat after a hard treatment or a quick snack during a long appointment, these small gestures can make a big difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Hope in Action and helps us bring comfort, care, and hope to local pediatric cancer children and their families. Together, we are making sure no child fights alone. 🎗️

Hope and Action would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to St John the Evangelist Nursery School for their incredible support of local pediatric cancer children.

We are beyond touched that the preschoolers participated in a special walk to help raise money and awareness for kids battling cancer right here in our community. Seeing children come together to help other children is truly inspiring and reminds us all of the kindness and compassion that exists in this world.

Thank you to the students, teachers, staff, and families of St. John’s the Evangelist Nursery School for your generosity, love, and support. Your efforts will help bring hope, comfort, and smiles to local pediatric cancer families.

This Mother’s Day, Hope in Action had the honor of delivering special gift bags to some incredibly strong and loving moms spending the holiday in the hospital beside their children battling pediatric cancer. 💛🎗️

While many families are celebrating at home, these mothers continue to show unimaginable strength, courage, and unconditional love through long hospital days, treatments, and uncertainty. We wanted to remind them that they are seen, appreciated, and deeply loved.

Our hope was to bring a small moment of comfort, encouragement, and joy to these amazing moms who sacrifice so much for their children every single day.

To all pediatric cancer moms spending Mother’s Day in a hospital room — you are heroes. Your strength inspires us, and Hope in Action stands beside you every step of the way.

Hope and Action was honored to celebrate the incredible mothers of our pediatric cancer warriors with a special Mother’s Day self-care event. 💛

These amazing moms spend so much of their time caring for their children, so we wanted to create a evening just for them — a time to relax, enjoy pedicures, practice self-care, and most importantly, connect with other mothers who truly understand the journey.

The laughter, conversations, support, and love shared throughout the evening was so meaningful. Seeing these strong women take a moment for themselves reminded us all how important community and compassion truly are. 💛🎗️
