I have seen a lot of us caregivers post a fact about JA everyday for the month of July on their personal page to help other just know exactly what our kiddos have.

1) It sucks missing school! Even tho everyone dreams of missing school including me it sucks missing multiple days of school in a row because you just fall so behind in high school!

Christmas in July!!! Do you have a neighbor, friend, coworker, mother n law who’s yard or event office that needs a little something special?!? Give them this gift of a juvenile arthritis toilet to bring attention to their yard, office and so on.
At the same time spreading awareness that kids get arthritis too!!
July is Juvenile arthritis awareness month!

Another great post from a kiddo who has to be more like an adult when it comes to her health!
Count how many times she says friends. In order to enjoy our “happy place” WE need to all do what is uncomfortable and not our norm NOW.

this picture was taken at my moms favorite place in the world, orange beach, alabama. you see in that picture is three people;
a mom-who has AS and chrons on top of many other things and is very immune-compromised and is on Remicade
a little girl leaning her head on her mom who happens to be my sister-has special needs and an auto immune disease. so yes she is at risk
me-has juvenile idiopathic arthritis among other things and is immune-compromised and on enbrel.
you see we could be at the beach right now with our toes in the sand and myself getting an amazing tan. but instead we are under self quarantine so that we don’t get infected with the virus. please stay home and help flatten the curve. i get it staying home sucks it truly does and not being with your friends is even worse. i mean i’m painting my pill containers for four hours i know what you all are feeling. i’m begging you though please please stay home for my family and i so that this can be over sooner and i can see my friends again. please help me by listening to our president and your local government by staying home and washing your hands.
