I'll be bringing fresh maple syrup & sap, and teaching the basics of tapping Maple trees in your yard. For those who attended last year, they were able to sample syrup, and maple sugar all possible with just a single Maple tree. Come learn what's possible with a little effort and basic tools. It's a surefire way to create new family traditions. Maple Sugaring has been around since the Native Americans harvested the sweet sap from Maple, Birch and Walnut trees. All proceeds to benefit my other Executive Director non-profit work that's just as important, The New Hanover Historical Society & restoration of the General Godfrey Estate.

We had a real nice turnout for Earth Day at the Plumsted Branch of the Ocean County Library! We talked about how to make hydrosol & essential oils, free plants & seeds as well as upcoming activities. Two of our board members Dottie and Maggie volunteered.

We've got some floaters and some sinkers. This time around the sinkers are More likely to be viable: Camilla senesis tea seeds and coffee Arabica seeds. But we'll plant all of them and take note if some of the floaters do germinate.🤞🌱 Stay tuned... The Humble Turnip
