Deliberative session tonight. 7pm. ND Elementary School.

Warrant articles are on the Town website.

These are the numbers we are looking to amend the budget article to - they include contractual obligations and were done initially by the Town Finance Officer and Interim TA and submitted to DRA as being a viable budget and covering our obligations for 2026.

Important dates to keep in mind:

BUDGET HEARING - January 14, 2026

DELIBERATIVE SESSION - February 3, 2026

At the last BOS meeting, the Town Moderator, Linda Calloway, interpreted 91A erroneously, and she is not in favor of non-voters speaking at meetings and deliberative session. This is wrong. Tax payers can only vote if they are registered voters, however they should be allowed to speak to issues that impact them, especially with the high taxes people pay.

2026 is going to be a crucial year for tax payers. The budget needs to be scrutinized, and new blood is needed for Boards, Committees and other elected positions.

There are numerous warrant articles out there. For those who were collecting signatures on warrant articles, please email them back as soon as possible. Thank you!
