It's with a heavy heart that I have decided to close The New Cumberland TNR Program.
While I have not been making any social media posts, I have remained active within the borough assisting those that needed help trapping, paying for surgeries, contributing to the new pet ordinance, loaning equipment, obtaining a chip reader for the borough PD and, as recently as a week ago, working with our PD in helping a family with a sick and injured cat they found in their garage.
There's another group in town now that has more interest in competition than collaboration and people are confused with who they are supporting since they have made their name very similar to this program.
My target has always been the proper care of the Feral and Free-Roaming cats within the borough. I appreciate those of you that have stuck with me through the years, in any capacity.
I will continue to support The Nobody's Cats Foundation as they were an integral part of bringing a TNR program to our borough and still offer the best TNR care you can find.
I will also continue to support residents in need of assistance with performing TNR.
I will continue to raise money through the sale of my hand-made cat toys available at Weist Hardware or Oxford Hall and will donate all of the proceeds to The Nobody's Cats Foundation.
If you need to get in touch with me, please feel free to message me on my personal FB page.
I'll let this post up until the end of September and then I'll delete the page.
Thank you, everyone.
