NY Financial District Lions Club We volunteers to play baseball with the NY LIONS Blind Baseball Team. We are also looking for an experience Baseball Coach to volunteer his time to coach them.

The New York Financial District Lions Club “NY FIDI LIONS CLUB” is a charter club of LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL “LIONS” , the world’s largest Not-For-Profit NGO founded in 1917. The NY LIONS BB is the first officially registered team in the US that plays the Italian Adaptive Baseball (Not Beep Ball) and the first in Lions’ Organization whose players are Lions Members. Lions members from around the world, attending the LDUN are invited to a Celebration of “Friendship and International Understanding” hosted by the Financial District Lions Club in the evening of LDUN, March 1, 2024, fr 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Dinner is “a la carte” and cash bar payable to restaurant per consumption. Additionally we request that guests contribute with $20.00 that will be given to LCIF during the event. Last year we launched a raffle and raised $1,140.00 for LCIF in support to the war in Ukraine. Funds we raised this year will be to support LCIF services for victims of war and disasters. Lions are good hearted people and I thank you for your support. See attached.
