Running a business often means solving one practical need at a time. The good news is that you don't have to figure it out on your own!

Look to others in your business community. Ask them about the biggest obstacle or unanswered question you have on your slate. Even if someone else doesn't have the full solution, they may have a question, a resource, or an experience to share that clarifies what you can do next.

Always remember: you do not have to solve everything alone.

Karen, a member of Elevate by Grameen America's Newark branch and owner of Wayz 2 Go Transport LLC, shared that one of her favorite parts of owning a business is having something of her own and showing her family what it means to make something grow.

That's why business is sometimes personal. So is the work it takes to keep a business moving.

Advice for entrepreneurs: define what progress needs to look like for your life and business right now. It might be steadier cash flow, better boundaries, or more organized operations.

Connecting as a business community can be practical.

It can look like sharing a referral, recommending a supplier, reviewing a price list, explaining a process, or connecting another entrepreneur to a useful resource.

Latoya, member of Elevate by Grameen America's Houston branch and owner of Toya’s Jewelry Box, spoke about the confidence that comes from believing that a successful business is in reach.

That kind of confidence grows stronger in community. When entrepreneurs exchange knowledge and encouragement, they help one another make informed decisions and keep moving through uncertainty.
