F.R.I.E.N.D.S — FAITH THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TO CHRIST

Key Text: Luke 5:20
“And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.”

🌅 INTRODUCTION

One of the most powerful stories in the Gospels is the moment when four friends tore open a roof to bring a helpless man to Jesus (Luke 5:17–26). Their determination shows what true spiritual friendship looks like.

While salvation today is revealed through Paul’s gospel of grace (1 Corinthians 15:1–4), the principle remains powerful: God uses faithful believers to bring others to Christ.

🧠🔥 WHAT ARE YOU FEEDING YOUR MIND? — WORLD or WORD

📖 Romans 12:2 | Colossians 3:16

🔔 INTRODUCTION

In the Dispensation of Grace, God is not reforming the world—He is renewing the believer’s mind.

What enters the mind determines:
Direction of the walk
Strength of the stand
Fruitfulness of the life

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” (Rom. 8:6)
Every day, believers choose what they consume mentally—the WORLD or the WORD.

1️⃣ W — WORLDLINESS CORRUPTS
📖 Romans 12:2
Explanation:
The world presses believers into its mold.

Sub-points (W):
Wicked Culture – shapes ungodly values (Rom. 12:2)
Worldly Patterns – oppose grace thinking (Gal. 1:4)
Warped Priorities – temporal over eternal (2 Cor. 4:18)

2️⃣ O — OBSESSION WITH RICHES
📖 1 Timothy 6:10
Explanation:
World-feeding fuels covetousness, not contentment.

Sub-points (O):
Overvaluing Money – root of many evils (1 Tim. 6:10)
Outrunning Godliness – gain over grace (1 Tim. 6:5)
Overthrowing Faith – pierced with sorrows (1 Tim. 6:10)

Resisting Reproof – conscience dulled (1 Tim. 4:2)

4️⃣ L — LIES AND FALSE LEARNING
📖 Colossians 2:8
Explanation:
World wisdom competes with revealed truth.

Sub-points (L):
Luring Philosophy – tradition of men (Col. 2:8)
Law-Mixing Error – corrupts grace (Gal. 5:4)
Leavened Doctrine – spreads quickly (Gal. 5:9)

5️⃣ D — DARKNESS DECEIVES
📖 Ephesians 6:12
Explanation:
The battlefield is mental before it is moral.

Sub-points (D):
Deceptive Powers – spiritual wickedness (Eph. 6:12)
Dulled Discernment – unstable minds (Eph. 4:14)
Defeated Walk – not standing fast (Phil. 1:27)

6️⃣ W — WORD WISELY NOURISHES
📖 2 Timothy 3:16
Explanation:
The Word builds what the world breaks.

Sub-points (W):
Wisdom from Scripture – divine instruction (2 Tim. 3:16)
Washing of the Mind – truth sanctifies (Eph. 5:26)
Well-Equipped Believer – furnished unto all good works (2 Tim. 3:17)

7️⃣ O — ONLY CHRIST SAVES
📖 1 Timothy 2:5
Explanation:
Grace teaching centers the mind on Christ alone.

Sub-points (O):
One Mediator – Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 2:5)
Objective Gospel – death, burial, resurrection (1 Cor. 15:1-4)
Out of Self-Effort – into finished work (Gal. 2:16)

📖 2 Timothy 2:15
Explanation:
Confusion fades when truth is divided correctly.

Sub-points (R):
Recognizing Dispensations – God’s progressive dealings (Eph. 3:2)
Rejecting Contradictions – law vs grace (Rom. 6:14)
Resting in Pauline Doctrine – our marching orders (Rom. 16:25)

9️⃣ D — DOCTRINE OF GRACE DOMINATES
📖 Acts 20:24
Explanation:
Grace stabilizes the mind and empowers the walk.

Sub-points (D):
Delivered Message – gospel of grace (Acts 20:24)
Daily Edification – grace builds up (Acts 20:32)
Distinct Calling – Body of Christ truth (Eph. 1:22-23)

🏁 CONCLUSION

The mind cannot remain neutral.
If it is not filled with truth, it will be filled with trash.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” (Col. 3:16)

✝️ WATER OR SPIRIT — WHICH BIRTH SAVES?

(Understanding the New Birth in the Dispensation of Grace)

Key Text: John 3:6
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

🌅 INTRODUCTION

Jesus told Nicodemus that a man must be born again (John 3:3). Many religious systems interpret this as water baptism, but when Scripture is rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15), we see that salvation today comes through the spiritual birth by the Holy Spirit through faith in the gospel.

Under the Dispensational understanding, believers today are saved by believing the gospel of grace:
1 Corinthians 15:1–4 — Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.

Physical birth produces a natural life, but spiritual birth produces eternal life.
The difference between WATER and SPIRIT shows the contrast between flesh and salvation.

B. Temporary Life Ends in Death
— Hebrews 9:27
C. Temporary World Is Passing Away
— 1 John 2:17
➡️ Earthly life is temporary without eternal salvation.

4️⃣ E — EARTHLY BODY IS CORRUPTIBLE 🧍‍♂️

A. Earthly Bodies Are Weak
— Romans 8:10
B. Earthly Flesh Cannot Please God
— Romans 8:8
C. Earthly Bodies Decay and Die
— 2 Corinthians 4:16
➡️ Flesh cannot inherit God’s kingdom.

5️⃣ R — RUINED BY SINFUL FLESH 💔

A. Ruined Nature Rejects God
— Romans 3:10
B. Ruined Humanity Needs Redemption

B. Positioned in Heavenly Places
— Ephesians 2:6
C. Partakers of Christ’s Righteousness

Religion focuses on water rituals.
But the gospel of grace reveals that salvation comes through faith in Christ’s finished work.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith.”

FROM ADAM TO CHRIST — THE FULL BELIEVER JOURNEY

🌑 Natural → ✝️ Salvation → 👶 Carnal → 🌿 Spiritual → 👑 Judgment Seat of Christ

(Mid-Acts Right Division) KJV Text

🌑 1️⃣ THE NATURAL MAN
— Humanity in Adam —

Let us begin carefully.

Every person enters life in Adam, not in Christ.

📖 Romans 5:12
“By one man sin entered into the world…”

👉 Sin is not first an action.
It is a condition inherited.

Spiritual Reality

The natural man:
lives physically alive
but spiritually separated

📖 Ephesians 2:1
“Dead in trespasses and sins.”

Dead does not mean nonexistent. It means separated from God’s life.

Understanding Problem

📖 1 Corinthians 2:14
The natural man cannot receive spiritual truth because:

Spirit of God is not indwelling
understanding is darkened

📖 Ephesians 4:18
“Alienated from the life of God.”

Across Dispensations

Before grace:
— Conscience tested man (Genesis)
— Government restrained man (Noah)
— Law exposed sin (Moses)
— Prophets warned Israel

Yet humanity remained unchanged inwardly.

📖 Romans 3:20
Law gives knowledge of sin — not salvation.

Therefore history moves toward one solution:

The Cross.

✝️ 2️⃣ SALVATION — GOD’S DIVINE INTERRUPTION

The gospel announces what man could never accomplish.

📖 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Christ died — payment made for our sins.
Christ buried — death confirmed.
Christ risen — victory declared.

Simply:
Hear
Believe
Trust

What God Does Instantly

📖 Colossians 1:13-14

Let us unpack slowly.

✔ Delivered

Removed from authority of darkness.

📖 Acts 26:18
Turned from darkness to light.

No gradual rescue — immediate transfer.

✔ Translated

A kingdom relocation.

📖 Philippians 3:20
“Our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven.”

You now belong to a heavenly people.

✔ Redeemed

Purchased completely.

📖 Ephesians 1:7
Redemption through His blood.

Debt canceled permanently.

✔ Forgiven

📖 Colossians 2:13
“Forgiven you ALL trespasses.”

Past.
Present.
Future judicially settled.

Mid-Acts Insight

The full meaning of this salvation was hidden before Paul.

📖 Romans 16:25
Mystery kept secret since the world began.

Now revealed — Body of Christ doctrine.

Position vs Practice

Position = perfected instantly.
Practice = learned gradually.

This explains post-salvation struggle.

👶 3️⃣ THE CARNAL BELIEVER
— Saved but Flesh-Directed —

Paul addresses believers:

📖 1 Corinthians 3:1
“I brethren...speak unto you… as unto carnal.”

Notice carefully:
He calls them brethren — saved people.

Meaning of Carnal

Carnal = governed by flesh thinking.

Not loss of salvation.
But lack of renewal.

Inner Structure After Salvation

You now possess:
new life in spirit
old flesh still present
mind needing renewal

📖 Romans 7:18
“In my flesh dwelleth no good thing.”

Why Struggle Exists

📖 Galatians 5:17
Flesh fights Spirit.

This conflict begins only after salvation.

Corinth Example Expanded

They had:
spiritual gifts (1 Cor 1:7)
knowledge of Christ
true salvation

Yet:
divisions (3:3)
pride (4:7)
immaturity

Because doctrine had not matured them.

Key Verse

📖 Romans 12:2
“Be transformed by renewing of your mind.”

Transformation happens through truth understood.

🌿 4️⃣ THE SPIRITUAL BELIEVER
— Normal Christian Living —

📖 1 Corinthians 2:15
“He that is spiritual judgeth all things.”

Spiritual means:
Mind aligned with God’s revealed truth.

Growth Method

📖 Colossians 2:6
“As ye have received Christ… so walk.”

You received Christ by faith.
You grow the same way — trusting truth.

Identity Realization

📖 Ephesians 1:6
Accepted in the Beloved.

Growth begins when believer understands acceptance is already secured.

Renewed Thinking Produces Fruit

📖 Galatians 5:22-23
Fruit is result of Spirit-led life:

love
joy
peace
patience

Fruit grows naturally from doctrinal stability.

Heavenly Orientation

📖 Colossians 3:1-2
Seek things above.

Body of Christ calling is heavenly, not earthly kingdom rule.

Pauline Growth Pattern

Romans → identity
Ephesians → position
Colossians → focus on Christ
Timothy/Titus → service order

Doctrine builds maturity step by step.

👑 5️⃣ JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST
— Future Evaluation of Believers —

📖 2 Corinthians 5:10
All believers appear before Christ.

This is not condemnation.

📖 Romans 8:1
No condemnation in Christ.

What Is Tested?

📖 1 Corinthians 3:12-15
Works examined by fire.

Gold — grace-built service.
Wood — flesh-motivated effort.

Important Truth

The believer remains saved:
“He himself shall be saved.”

Rewards differ — salvation does not.

Why This Matters

Doctrine now shapes eternity later.

God prepares members of Christ’s Body for heavenly administration.

🧭 RIGHT DIVISION — TWO PROGRAMS OF GOD

Prophecy Program (Israel):
📖 Luke 1:70
Spoken since world began.

earthly millennial kingdom
prophetic covenants
law system

Mystery Program (Body of Christ, now)
📖 Ephesians 3:9
Hidden in God until Paul.

heavenly calling
grace salvation
one new man in Christ

We live in this dispensation today.

🌟 COMPLETE FLOW REVIEW

🌑 Natural Man
— dead in Adam (Eph 2:1)
⬇️
✝️ Salvation
— translated into Christ (Col 1:13)

— mind unrenewed (Rom 12:2)
⬇️
🌿 Spiritual Growth

🔑 MID-ACTS RIGHT DIVISION CONCLUSION

God today is forming a heavenly Body, not restoring Israel’s prophetic kingdom yet.

Salvation places you into Christ instantly.

Christian growth is learning Pauline revelation — the mystery of Christ.

🕊️ FINAL SUMMARY

The natural man needs the Cross.
The saved believer needs doctrine.
The spiritual believer lives grace identity.
The Judgment Seat reveals eternal purpose.

LIVE A BALANCED LIFE — POSITION AND PRACTICE

Position: Already secure in Christ.

Practice: Daily growth through doctrine and Spirit-led living.

Application: Avoid extremes:

Don’t live careless because “I’m saved.”

Don’t live fearful thinking you must earn salvation.

Daily life principle: Trust your position; obey your practice.

THE B.I.B.L.E — FIVE WAYS TO HONOR THE WORD OF GOD

Key Text: 2 Timothy 3:16–17
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

🌅 INTRODUCTION

The Bible is not just a religious book—it is the inspired Word of God. In the Dispensation of Grace, God has revealed His will and His gospel through Scripture, especially through the ministry of the apostle Paul.

If believers truly honor God, they must also honor His Word.
Romans 10:17 — “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

The question today is not whether we own a Bible.
The real question is: Do we honor the Bible?
The acronym B.I.B.L.E shows five biblical ways believers should honor God's Word.

1️⃣ B — BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD 📖

A. Believe the Bible is Inspired
The Scriptures come from God, not from human imagination.
— 2 Timothy 3:16
B. Believe the Bible is True
God’s Word cannot lie or fail.
— John 17:17

📖 Judges 7:1–25 (KJV) — Gideon and the 300

The Well of Harod

“Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon…” (Judges 7:1)

Gideon (also called Jerubbaal) and Israel camp beside the well of Harod, while the vast army of Midian lies in the valley near the hill of Moreh.
The Midianites, Amalekites, and the children of the east are described as “grasshoppers for multitude” and their camels “as the sand by the sea side.”

Israel looks small. The enemy looks unstoppable.

🔥 God Reduces the Army

Judges 7:2–8

The LORD says:

“The people that are with thee are too many… lest Israel vaunt themselves… saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.” (v.2)

Step 1: The Fearful Leave
•22,000 men return home
•10,000 remain

Step 2: The Water Test

At the water, God separates the men:
•Those who lapped water with their hand to their mouth — 300 men
•Those who bowed on their knees to drink — sent home

LORD God declares:

“By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you.” (v.7)

🫴🏻Victory belongs to the LORD, not to human strength.

🌙 The Dream in the Enemy Camp

Judges 7:9–15

God strengthens Gideon’s faith by sending him secretly into the enemy camp.

A Midianite soldier shares a dream:

A cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp and overturned a tent.

His companion interprets it:

“This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon… for into his hand hath God delivered Midian.” (v.14)

When Gideon hears this:

“He worshipped.” (v.15)

🙏 Before victory comes worship.

🎺 The Strategy of Faith

Judges 7:16–22

Gideon divides the 300 into three companies.
Each man carries:
•A trumpet
•An empty pitcher
•A lamp inside the pitcher

At midnight:
•They blow the trumpets
•Break the pitchers
•Reveal the lamps
•Cry aloud:

“The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon!” (v.20)

God causes confusion.
The Midianites turn their swords against each other.

✨ No swords in Israel’s hands.
✨ Only obedience, light, and sound.

🏃 The Enemy Flees

Judges 7:23–25

The tribes of Naphtali, Asher, Manasseh, and Ephraim pursue the fleeing Midianites.

Two Midianite princes are captured:
•Oreb — slain at the rock of Oreb
•Zeeb — slain at the winepress of Zeeb

Their heads are brought to Gideon as proof of victory.

💡 Powerful Spiritual Lessons:
🔹 God removes human pride before giving victory.
🔹 Faith grows when we listen to God’s voice.
🔹 Obedience is stronger than numbers.
🔹 God can use the weak to defeat the mighty.
🔹 Worship comes before breakthrough.

“By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you.”
— Judges 7:7 (KJV)
