The Virtuosi co-produces fully-staged opera productions with Connecticut Lyric Opera. In addition to performances, the Virtuosi enriches the community by providing free tickets to local schools and hosting lectures on orchestral music. A frequent guest at the Kosciusko Foundation’s Chamber Music Series, in 2003 the Virtuosi was invited to perform at the Gala Concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of John Paul II’s papacy.

An outstanding international cast is headlined by Brazilian mezzo‑soprano Rebecca Almeida as Carmen, American tenor Jax Hussler as Don José, and Polish‑American baritone Wojciech Bonarowski as Escamillo. Artistic Director maestro Adrian Sylveen leads the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and the Virtuosi OPERA in a fully staged production enhanced with English super‑title translations.
