🏈 THE RIVALRY LIVES ON: IT’S MINI WURST BOWL TIME! 🏈

New Braunfels, get ready! Everyone knows the legendary tradition of the annual Wurst Bowl between the NB Unicorns and the Canyon Cougars. Since our NB Crusaders wear the classic Unicorn colors with pride, and we’re matching up against the Jr. Cougars, you know we had to make it official—we are hosting our very own Mini Wurst Bowl!

This is more than just a game; it's a celebration of youth football in our community. Both programs are packed with tremendous athletes who have been working their tails off all season.

Let’s rally together as a community to show massive support for both of these incredible programs!

Crusaders: Come out with pride, bring the energy, and be ready to fight for the pride of New Braunfels! Let’s leave it all on the field!

🏈🛡️ CRUSADERS HOME GAME RECAP! 🛡️🏈

What an incredible day of football at our very first home game! Every single one of our boys across all divisions stepped onto that field yesterday, and as a Crusader family, we could not be prouder to stand behind them.

Huge Congratulations to our Flag and Tykes teams for bringing home the victories!

Flag set the tone for the day, battling hard every single second to secure a fantastic 28 to 18 win!
Tykes followed right behind them, fiercely defending the home front and putting on a spectacular show with a stunning 40 to 0 shutout against the Central Texas Centurions!

Both teams did an outstanding job executing, playing as a family, and claiming those well-deserved wins!

To our Older Boys—our Rookies and Juniors:

Yesterday was a tough one on the scoreboard, and we know it wasn’t our best showing out there. But listen up: our love and pride for you guys doesn't depend on a win, and it doesn't change after a hard loss. Football is a journey of ups and downs, and days like yesterday are exactly where character is built.
We love you boys, we believe in your potential, and we are not giving up on you for a second. We are going to get right back to work at practice this week, push through the cobwebs, and get everything operating smoothly. Your coaches and your families are with you all the way!
Ultimately, we play for a higher purpose. Win or lose, good days or hard days, all things are done for the Kingdom of God, not for our worldly glory.

We are still so excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for this amazing group of young men. Thank you to all the coaches, parents, and fans who came out to support!

🏈 CRUSADER PRIDE 🏈

All thanks to God first and foremost!

We want to take a moment to honor our Tyke team. Yesterday wasn't just about football; it was about watching these young men show us what true heart looks like. From the very first snap of the ball, they set the tone. They came out physical, focused, and absolutely hungry to give everything they had from play number one.
We are deeply grateful to the North Central Jaguars for welcoming us to their home field. They are a classy, tough group that played with immense pride and never gave up. It was a beautiful, hard-fought battle by both teams.
Our boys and coaches stayed humble, stayed prepared, and put their weeks of hard work into motion without ever letting off the throttle. To see players this young display that kind of discipline and grit is incredibly humbling for us as an organization.
A massive, huge shout-out to Marcus Odell for coaching these boys on defense—not a single score got by our defense yesterday! Absolute lockdown ex*****on!
Thank you to all of our coaches on the Tyke team for leading by example, keeping these boys grounded, and teaching them the game the right way. Keep building them up!
Way to go, NB Crusaders! Thank you for representing our community with such class and fire.

All thanks to God first and foremost! 🙏✨

Just want to take a moment to give a massive shout-out to our incredible flag football team and their dedicated coaches! They are doing an absolutely awesome job out here, both on and off the field.
We had the privilege of playing the North Central Jaguars Yesterday. Huge thank you to them for welcoming us to their home field—they played with so much heart and never gave up! It was a well-fought battle on both sides.
Our boys and coaches came prepared, stayed ready, and never let off the throttle! They put exactly what they’ve been practicing all week straight into play. Both sides did a phenomenal job, and as an organization, we are just beyond proud of what these 4 and 5-year-olds are capable of doing!
Way to go, NB Crusaders! Y’all deserve it, and we are so incredibly proud of every single one of y’all!
