New Braunfels Trail Team 6

New Braunfels Trail Team 6 Some Q & A on the NBTT6 Team! Q: Why did NBTT6 change to a 501c3 organization? Q: Why is there a BOD? Q: So … who is this Board of Directors? Q: What about events?

A: The decision was made a couple years ago by the team founders that NBTT6 could better support the community and achieve its goals if it were able to accept larger financial donations from businesses and other organizations. These donations mainly come when they can be tax deductible – thus the decision to become a 501c3 organization. A: Federal and state law requires a 501c3 to be managed by a

governing Board of Directors. A 501c3 is a business and thus must follow certain business and tax laws and regulations. It is the job of the BOD to make sure these laws and regulations are followed. A: The New Braunfels Trail Team 6 BOD is as follows:
President – Ron Pratt
Vic-President – Rick Kiesling
Secretary – Chris Koers
Treasurer – Johnelle Turner
Communications Dir – Maurice Henry
Large Event Dir – Chris Baber
Community Events – Nancy Snelgrove
Social Events – Jeff McCullough

Q: Why is there a new page? A: As a corporation, all social media must fall under the purview of the organization. The page, or any other social media, cannot be run by any individual, it must be managed by the organization. Q: Why are there all these pages now? Which one is the right one? A: This “new” New Braunfels Trail Team 6 page is now the official page for the team. All previous pages will soon be achieved and turned off. All New Braunfels Trail Team 6 business, events, and communications will be managed through this page. A: As you can see by the makeup of the BOD – the team will be very event-centric. Events is what we do! We will continue to add more events and supporting our community and members will remain the top focus! Q: What about the Jeep De-Lights Christmas runs? A: The NBTT6 Jeep De-Lights Christmas activity will not change at all. The Team is currently planning routes, making contacts, and setting up all the activities! These will go out as events as normal. The great thing about having this done by a dedicated team is it gets planned well in advance and will allow team members time to plan ahead! Q: What can I do? A: If you are interested in volunteering for anything, message of any of the BOD members or post your interest in Facebook! We have lots of opportunities on several of our committees for members to pitch in and get involved! More information on these opportunities will follow! More to come! -NBTT6-

An opportunity fell into our lap, and as always, NBTT6 jumped at it.

A huge THANK YOU to Matt Taylor of MKT Garage for grabbing these cases, and to Bluebonnet Commercial Truck Center for helping with transportation.

Big thanks as well to our Jeepers Ron Pratt and Jeff McCullough for getting everything moved and delivered!
