One of our community partners, elixircoffeeandtea, has suffered a loss in their family, and we’d like to encourage everyone to visit one of their two locations and show them some love.

We are shifting our mentor and youth programs to what is described in this share from Haven for Hope. Impacting foster care to homelessness required a different strategy and we're building in flexibility to accommodate the different needs of each youth.

Our new spaces by Room Redux-Central Texas allow our youth spaces to be less institutional, less clinical and safer and more comfortable so that it promotes learning and sharing.

Collaboration with NB First Footing and Connections Individual and Family Services for youth learning to adult is a great opportunity to impact youth homelessness.

We are fortunate to serve the community and if you’re interested in becoming a mentor, please visit our website to learn more.

Whether it be due to factors such as family challenges, childhood trauma, aging out of foster care or facing rising living costs, more and more New Braunfels young adults are finding themselves experiencing homelessness as they navigate the transition into adulthood. Several local nonprofits like Connections are stepping up to fill this gap.

And here’s the reveal of the amazing donation from Room Redux-Central Texas to transform our spaces into a welcoming, comfy and safe space for our youth and families.

We will utilize these spaces for mentor & volunteer trainings, youth lead chats, life skills classes and host community speakers.

Thank you to Sarah & Courtney for the beautiful mural and everyone at Room Redux-Central Texas for making this possible.

Thank you St. John's Episcopal Church, New Braunfels, TX for hosting Foster Care Awareness today.

Collaboration with 1HOPE for Kids, New Braunfels Foster Closet, CASA of Central Texas, Inc., Comal County Child Welfare Board and SJRC Texas & Belong allows a complete wrap around in services for children, youth and families navigating the foster care system.

Thank you all for working hard and supporting each other.
