New Braunfels Christian Ministries works together with families, volunteers and community partners to share the love of Christ by investing in people through programs at Kids Club and Volunteers in Medicine. Whether it’s walking alongside the next generation and their families at Kids Club or working together with adults at Volunteers in Medicine as they take charge of their health – NBCM is all a

bout showing God’s love.

-- Kids Club creates a fun, engaging environment where kids thrive through positive relationships with caring adults. Kids grow academically, expand life skills and develop Godly character.

-- Volunteers in Medicine staff and volunteers provide quality medical, dental and mental health care at no cost to local uninsured patients. Together we are greater than disease, diagnosis, and circumstance.

Today on National Eat Your Veggies Day, we’re celebrating the joy of learning in the Kids Club garden. Whether they’re digging in the dirt or bravely trying a new veggie snack, these moments help kids build healthy habits, confidence and a love for learning.

We are so grateful for the partnership of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels and their continued investment in the health and wellbeing of our community.

Through generous financial support, charity care for Volunteers in Medicine patients, and access to mammograms, CHRISTUS is helping uninsured adults receive compassionate, hope-filled care.

At NBCM, we believe education is an important part of whole-person care. That’s why we offer monthly Lunch & Learn sessions designed to equip patients with practical tools to support healthier living.

A special thank you to Zachary James, DPT, from Cibolo Creek Physical Therapy, for recently leading our “Ease Your Achy Back” session and sharing simple stretches and strategies to help relieve lower back pain. We’re grateful for community partners who invest their time and expertise to encourage and empower our patients.

These gatherings create opportunities for learning, connection and hope as we continue sharing the love of Christ by investing in people. 💙

We are so thankful for NB Women GO and their $10,000 grant supporting the purchase of a new colposcope for Volunteers in Medicine. This vital equipment helps providers detect and diagnose cervical cancer and other serious health concerns earlier — expanding access to critical care for uninsured women in our community.

A special thank you to the anonymous NB Women Go member whose additional $1,625 gift completed the funding needed to order the equipment immediately.

At VIM, patients receive compassionate medical, dental, behavioral health and spiritual support — all at no charge. Every appointment is an opportunity to help someone feel seen, valued and supported.

Quality primary care services, prescription assistance, laboratory testing and select specialty services help patients move forward with hope.

🦷 Dental Care
Dental exams, hygiene care and basic treatments help patients avoid pain and protect their overall health.

💙 Counseling & Support
Behavioral health support and counseling resources help patients navigate life’s challenges with hope and encouragement.
