A Flower on Every Grave – New Bern National Cemetery

On Memorial Day 2026, we will gather at New Bern National Cemetery at 10 AM to honor the heroes who gave everything for our freedom. Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) is proud to represent “A Flower on Every Grave” as part of our Roses for Remembrance 2026 Campaign.

We will begin by arranging the flowers for easy distribution and then attending the annual Memorial Day ceremony taking place at 11 AM, honoring Veterans with gratitude and reverence. Following the ceremony, volunteers will join together to lay red roses on as many graves as possible, pausing for a moment of silent remembrance at each resting place.

We currently have approximately 3,850 roses, but we need 6,500 total to ensure every grave at New Bern National Cemetery is honored. Your donation or volunteer time can help close that gap and make this mission complete.

This heartfelt tradition not only ensures our fallen heroes are remembered, it also raises funds to support su***de prevention and mental health resources for veterans.

🇺🇸 Victory for Veterans: A Flower on Every Grave

On May 26th, thirteen energetic volunteers came together for a mission of honor and remembrance. Together, we placed nearly 1,400 flowers on the graves of our heroes — each bloom a symbol of love, sacrifice, and eternal gratitude.

We came together with quiet reverence, full hearts, and a shared promise: they will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and spirit to make this Memorial Day one of deep meaning and beauty. 🌺💔

VA's National Cemetery Administration is joining forces with non-profit organizations Carry The Load, Travis Manion Foundation and Victory for Veterans to pay homage to Veterans interred in VA National Cemeteries through a series of events, volunteer opportunities and shared stories.

Memorial Day is coming up fast on May 26, 2025. Join Victory for Veterans, Inc. for the "Flower on Every Grave!" event.

To donate more roses for the event and to sign up to place those roses businesses and individuals just need to scan the QR Code.

Make this year a memorable event where we place a lot of roses to honor and pay respect to the fallen and those who have sacrificed for our country. Remember, 50 cents of dollar donated for a rose could save a veteran's life. Give generously and join us on Memorial Day!
