The power voting affords - it's not a right we take lightly. Because 56,000 of our brothers and sisters in North Carolina seeking a second chance previously convicted of a felony haven't been able to vote in NC until this election.

Mr. Smith says, “I thank God for this and I hope that God will help them. Get more volunteers to be able to help more people this way."
