In anticipation of the forecasted inclement weather, Craven County Schools will be operating on a 3-hour early release tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th. Before dismissal, lunch will be provided. The release times will be as follows:
⛈ Traditional High Schools-11:30 a.m.
⛈ Elementary Schools- Noon
⛈ Middle Schools 12:30 p.m.
⛈️ Early College EAST HS-12:50 p.m./Craven Early College HS 1:15 p.m.
All after-school activities will be canceled, this includes after-school care provided by the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club.

With the chance of high winds, heavy rainfall, and potential flooding Craven County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, January 10th for all students and staff. The start time for school will be as follows:
✏️ Traditional High Schools-9:30 a.m.
✏️ Elementary Schools-10:00 a.m.
✏️ Middle Schools-10:30 a.m.
✏️ Early College High Schools-11:00 a.m.
Breakfast will not be served in the morning since our school nutrition staff will start preparing for lunch upon arrival.
