What an incredible day celebrating Camilla’s Gift! We are still overwhelmed by the love, generosity, and support shown at our Fall Festival.
To every sponsor who believed in our mission, every business and individual who donated to our silent auction, every volunteer who gave their time, everyone who helped plan, set up, clean up, donated supplies, spread the word, or simply showed up to support us, THANK YOU! An event like this takes so many hands and hearts, and we truly could not have done it without each of you.
When we started Camilla’s Gift, we knew we wanted to turn our unimaginable heartbreak into something meaningful. What we never could have imagined was how many people would step up alongside us to help carry on our little girl’s legacy.
Camilla may have only been here for three short years, but the impact she continues to make is bigger than we ever could have dreamed. Every dollar raised, every device we are able to provide, and every family we are able to help is another piece of her love being shared with the world.
As her mom, there is something so bittersweet about seeing a room full of people come together because of her. I wish more than anything that she could have been there, running around, laughing, being silly, and enjoying every second of the day. But knowing that her name is still being spoken, her story is still being told, and her life is continuing to make a difference means more to me than I could ever put into words.
Our goal has always been to help families affected by epilepsy feel a little safer when they lay their children down at night. Because of all of you, we get to continue doing exactly that.
Thank you for loving our Milla, for remembering her, and for helping us build something beautiful in her honor. This is so much more than a fundraiser to our family. This is her legacy. And you are all a part of it.💜
