🩷👑Introducing my Little Miss New Albany Hospitality, Lacey Ruth Swords! 👑🩷

Lacey Ruth and I have shared so many wonderful memories over the years, and I have loved every single one! From swimming, sweet treats and everything in between, I always have the best time with her! Swipe through the pictures to see all the adventures we have been on so far!

🤩All About Lacey Ruth!🤩
Lacey Ruth Swords is the 9‑year‑old daughter of Nathan and Leslie Swords. She is headed to 4th grade at New Albany Elementary School this fall! Lacey Ruth is an active member of the children’s group at First Baptist Church and loves participating in Vacation Bible School, Children’s Camp, and is excited about her first year in Bible Drill.

Lacey Ruth loves swimming, spending time at the lake with her family, getting dressed up for pageants, filming makeup tutorials and dance videos with her friends, playing little league basketball, and performing in dance competitions with her PAC dance team.

Social Media Challenge Day ✋🏻!

ONE MONTH TILL COMPETITION!!!

OMG!! The time has flown! It feels like just yesterday I was crowned Miss New Albany Hospitality! The fact that we are only a month away is insane, but so exciting! I can’t wait to represent my hometown, New Albany, in Hattiesburg! I’m honored to be able to share with everyone why I love New Albany and Mississippi! 🩷

Social Media Challenge Day 4️⃣!

What is something you have enjoyed the most as a local titleholder?

Back in February I had the honor to attend Night to Shine as Ariel! Night to shine is an annual, worldwide prom night designed specifically for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. Sponsored globally by the Tim Tebow Foundation! Not only was I able to give back to my home church and community but I got to serve such a special group of people. 🩷A night to celebrate them as the Kings and Queens they are! I’m so thankful that through being Miss New Albany Hospitality I was able to volunteer at such a special event!

Throw back to local crowning! January 4, 2026! What a way to start the New Year! Since starting in the teen division back in 7th grade, I have truly loved being a part of this program. Winning this year was such a special experience, especially getting to follow in the footsteps of the former Miss New Albany Hospitality titleholders, including my own sister Lexie Kent Gafford! 🩷

Local director spotlight! It’s hard to fit everything I need to say about these two into one post! If you have ever met Chris or Billye Jean you know how PHENOMENAL they are! Two of the hardest working people I know, not only for Miss New Albany Hospitality but for our town! Constantly working, planning and putting their ideas in to action! I’m so fortunate to have not only one but two amazing role models to look up to! Thank you Chris and Billye Jean! You mean to world to me!
