Our Story

ROCK SCHOOL offer guitar,bass,vocal & drum lesson ..... •Beginner guitar students start off by learning the basic chord shapes and simple strumming patterns contained in their Rock songs. •Our guitar instructors use THE SONG AS A LESSON, introducing the student to concepts like chord progressions, time signatures, and scales for the first time. •Once our guitar students have mastered the basic aspects of a song, our instructors will begin working on more advanced concepts: finger exercises, picking techniques and basic scales for KILLER RIFFS AND EPIC SOLOS! Beginner bass students start off by learning the basic chord shapes and simple strumming patterns contained in a basic spects of a song. All of our drum students begin by learning about the drum kit and its many components. They are encouraged to hit each drum and cymbal and familiarize themselves with the sound each one makes. Our instructors explain what each drum contributes to the overall sound of the band. Once our drum students have been introduced to the kit, they beginning working on basic rudiments -- the rhythmic patterns that will form the backbone of their drumming. Those basic patterns slowly morph into the drum beats used in songs as a lesson. Vocal Lessons *Learn the melody songs *Memorize lyrics and structure of songs *Microphone technique *Accurately match pitch *Introduction to stage presentation *Basic vocal warm-ups *After a few weeks of vocal lessons most students are ready for the challenge of our performance program and are encouraged to take part in a show! Rock School students will master the basics while playing actual rock music, before jumping into live shows. Songs are chosen to highlight the skills needed to build a strong foundation on a respective student's musical instrument. *Our On Tour ROCK SCHOOL Program Students will learn harmonies, musicianship and how to perform in an authentic rock show environment. Each season, students spend time honing their music skills while preparing to perform some of the greatest songs in rock and roll history.
