Every year, Facebook offers to host a fundraiser for a validated, 501(c)(3) cause/organization on your birthday.

SETX Leukemia Organization is excited to announce that we are now on that list!

So the next time your birthday rolls around, please consider posting a fundraiser for SETX Leukemia Organization on your special day.

100% of all donations raised through your birthday fundraiser goes to supporting our missions:

- Providing financial assistance to local, southeast Texas families in need that are facing the daunting diagnosis of a blood cancer, such as leukemia or lymphoma

- Increasing the number of potential donors on the worldwide registry for bone marrow/stem cell donations for patients that desperately need a match to survive their fight. This is done through our partnership with DKMS US. A portion of the funds raised will be sent to DKMS so that they can continue providing this critical, life saving service and research, at absolutely no cost to the donor or the recipient.

We're excited to join the team at Southeast Texas Nonprofit Development Center as we begin the new year!

Meet our new member, Southeast Texas Leukemia Organization! They exist to financially assist local families facing a blood cancer diagnosis. Assistance is provided for travel, hospital bills/stays, missed wages while caring for the patient, etc. In partnership with DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donation registry, the SETX Leukemia Organization focuses on increasing the number of people registered as potential bone marrow / stem cell donors in the hopes of finding matches for patients needing a transplant at no cost to donors or recipients.
