I have always let GOD be the foundation of BRIDGEWAY!! I have always let HIM guide, lead, and direct!! When we move the men in from prison I may have an idea what house they will move into.... but GOD always has the final say... the last few we have moved in had no jobs yet out of prison. I moved them in each house I felt GOD was directing me too... trying to listen to HIM and be obedient... within a few days they had employment very close to the houses I placed them in!! Many of them do not have liscenses and vehicles right away so it is a great blessing and the favor of GOD to acquire employment right by their home, close for busing or biking!! Thankyou JESUS for your favor and provision in ALL areas of our life!! Such a good and FAITHFUL FATHER!! One of your great promises we stand on is " you work all things for our good"...

After 13 years Bristol Station in Hastings closing their doors this week!! 😢 Many men who have just paroled who currently reside there will need new
housing and placement!! Starting over again after incarceration now in Omaha!! So excited to be a part of this !! Helping those men here in Omaha during their re-entry phase to re- enter back into society after incarceration!! Thankyou Bristol Station for the many years you gave!! I have been out there to experience your great work!! We are going to miss you all and will closely continue the housing, the care and support you started with them when they paroled!! Heading to Omaha!! We are excited most of all to work with them and point them to the greatest helper of all JESUS!! ❤️✝️🔥🤗

Why Bridgeway?
Being released from prison can be extremely hard and challenging. It's very difficult to find employment, and housing. There is lack of support and community. We walk along side those that are released providing with housing,employment, support, vehicles.... but the most important is introducing them and pointing them to JESUS, the reason the men have great success and favor. Prison time offers extensive progragrmming relating to their crimes.... which is all good and positive... but once they learn GOD forgives with repentance and they know they can be forgiven, the guilt, shame, and the unknown of their future is replaced with their relationship with CHRIST and the plan and purpose HE created them for. Bridgeway walks with them into re-entry back into society helping them out in the community to live life on the outside with a relationship with CHRIST and community with others while being discipled.

Your walk of surrender after your salvation has been a great blessing. Watching HIS mighty hands on your life!! So blessed brother you are staying with us as alumni and helping us point the many men coming out after you to JESUS and discipleship, and of course all your great cooking you bless everyone with. Blessed and exciting day of parole yesterday!! They are so blessed to be able to walk out their freedom from the walls but most of all freedom in CHRIST!! The only ONE that brings freedom!! Only through CHRIST are you forgiven with repentance and can walk in HIS freedom and the plan and purpose HE created you for!! Excited and blessed for their journey and next chapter GOD is writing!! Thankyou JESUS!! A blessed night last night as some of my beautiful sisters from various churches served our men from Corrections and those on parole at Overcomers at Citylight!! We were so blessed to have our sisters partake in this mighty ministry as we point the men to JESUS loving and serving!! Thankyou for your willingness to serve us monthly! So blessed!!

GOD is so good and faithful placing who HE wants in BRIDGEWAY for this season of their life!! Exciting month!! Three of our men going up for parole this month!! Ready to live life on the outside!! Getting rooms ready and praying over their rooms!! Another one was supposed to go before parole in April they recalculated and now they informed me it is this month they are bringing him before the parole board!! Thankyou JESUS we will have an opening for him if they release him!! We are blessed to walk with them and point them to JESUS for this next season of their life!! Pulling them out of the darkness into the LIGHT!! Only JESUS!!

Thankyou JESUS!! Five of our men stepped into obedience in baptism after their profession of faith in JESUS CHRIST!! Out of the darkness and into the LIGHT!! The devil lost again!! Amazingly blessed morning at CITYLIGHT with Corrections and those on parole coming to support their brothers in their amazing next step in baptism. Powerful morning!! To GOD be the glory!!

What makes someone successful when they parole out of Corrections? JESUS!! Programming is great, classes are great!! But if they do not know they are loved by a mighty GOD and JESUS gave the ultimate sacrifice for them!! When they come to that heartfelt knowledge deep inside that is when they can move forward in GODS grace, love and repentance!! That is when we see a life lived strong by the SPIRIT exhibiting the fruits of the SPIRIT!! We have five more getting baptized!! They have accepted CHRIST as their LORD and SAVIOR and ready to move forward in their walk of discipleship!! Its a blessing to be on this great journey with them as they walk out in faith all our amazing GOD has for them!!
Thankyou JESUS for your ultimate sacrifice help us live a life loving, pleasing and honoring you for all you have done for us!! Praise be to our HOLY GOD!!

Worshipping together, studying GODS WORD together, praying for one another that is what community is all about at Overcomers in CHRIST on Thursday evenings with Corrections!! " as iron sharpens iron" building community and roots in CHRIST so upon parole/ probation and walking life on the outside will be with CHRIST and community with one another for an easier grounded re- entry out of incarceration!!
