A significant moment for communities across Tennessee.

Nine Tennessee-based organizations have been selected as the Volunteer Mentorship Initiative’s Implementation Partners and will help recruit, train, and support mentors serving inside Tennessee’s fourteen state prisons.

Through VMI, everyday Tennesseans from all walks of life will walk alongside men and women preparing to return home, offering consistent mentorship, encouragement, accountability, and support throughout the reentry journey.

Today, we celebrate these organizations, their leadership, staff, and volunteers for stepping forward to serve and invest in stronger futures across Tennessee.
