Links Day at the Tennessee State Capitol 🤍

Members of The Links, Incorporated from across Tennessee gathered for two impactful days of service, advocacy, and civic engagement at the Tennessee State Capitol.

The experience began with a service project at the Cordell Hull Building where members assembled care kits for middle school girls in Nashville, supporting dignity, wellness, and access for young women in our community. 💚

Members also participated in legislative sessions and panel discussions focused on policy, community partnerships, and strengthening our role as informed advocates. These conversations provided valuable insight on advancing initiatives that improve the quality of life for families across Tennessee.

Congratulations to the 2026 Links Day at the State Capitol, Lois Deberry Award Recipient, The Honorable Angelita Dalton.

We would like to give appreciation to State Senator Charlane Oliver, Representative Karen Camper, Representative Joe Towns Jr., Representative Harold Love Jr., Representative Justin J. Pearson, and Representative Raumesh Akbari for recognizing the work and impact of The Links, Incorporated.

💚🤍 Services to Youth in Action! 🤍💚

What an incredible and impactful day for our students!

Thank you to the Services to Youth Facet of The Links, Incorporated Parthenon Chapter for curating a powerful experience for students from Purpose Prep as we attended the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performance. Exposing our youth to excellence in the arts, culture, and legacy is exactly how we broaden vision and ignite possibility.

In addition, our chapter proudly partnered with Smithson Craighead Academy for a dynamic Black History Month STEM activity in collaboration with the National Society of Black Engineers Jr. Students explored leadership, engineering principles, and Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion through hands-on balloon-powered car challenges. Watching them build, test, problem-solve, and cheer each other on was a reminder that representation and opportunity matter.

From the stage to the science lab, today was about expanding minds and empowering futures.
