We’ve been sitting on some news! Nashville Freedom School Partnership is one of 21 Middle Tennessee nonprofits taking part in Give Like Dolly – Middle Tennessee, a three-day giving campaign presented by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and Music Community Foundation in celebration of Dolly Parton’s lifelong generosity.

We are part of the Help a Child Succeed giving area. From September 25 through 27, a gift there supports our work alongside four other organizations doing the same kind of work across the region. Mark your calendar for Friday! Visit giving9to5.com for more information and to donate.

We hope students across Metro Nashville Public Schools had a wonderful first day of school today! 🎉❤️

We are especially excited for our Summer 2025 Scholars and Jr. SLIs to return for another amazing school year. 📚❤️

We can’t believe it is already Week 5 at Nashville Freedom Schools! This summer has gone by in a rush of joy and learning. 🤩

Week 5 is one of our favorites because we show love to our amazing Servant Leader Interns! Nashville Freedom Schools would not be what it is without their brilliance and dedication. 💪🏾

Meet Ms. Jasmine! The theme for her learning community is the “Freedom Writers”, which she hopes inspired her Level III scholars to love writing as much as they love reading. Ms. Jasmine is also our incredibly talented resident scientist and responsible for much of our STEM work this summer. 👩🏽‍🔬
