Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. Your work is NEVER done!

I am so pleased with all we have accomplished this year! We kicked off the school year with emergency feminine hygiene kits for each of the girls’ schools. During Christmas, we made about 25 bags of love for children being placed in State custody. These bags gave kids a little dignity if they were leaving a situation with nothing but the clothes on their backs. For Valentine’s Day, the girls made Valentine Cards for the homeless guests of Room at the Inn. I’m also proud to say that the club has been able to participate in at least 3 of the sorority’s national programs and we don’t plan to stop! Our exposure in the community is drawing attention and we are now getting invites to events all over Greater Nashville! The best is yet to come!!

It’s Rhosebud Reflection Day. We asked our little ladies what makes them beautiful. Here are their responses. It’s important that we lift these girls up! They’re at a delicate stage where everything feels awkward. They’ll tell you everything they don’t like about themselves. Make sure they know their worth and that they are beautiful just as they are.
