We are still resonating from the incredible night we had at the PAC in Highlands. What a beautiful success Opera Goes to the Movies turned out to be.

We are deeply humbled by the warmth, generosity, and enthusiasm this community welcomed us with. From the audience to the volunteers, sponsors, hosts, and every single person who went the extra mile to make this evening memorable, thank you for embracing us so wholeheartedly.

And thank you to our new friends , .karp , Wendy Rawls, and Scott Rawls for beautifully stepping into the role of our Bel Canto String Quartet and helping bring this evening to life with such artistry and generosity.

We are still resonating with Saturday’s performance, the culmination of two wonderful weeks of teaching, learning, sharing, growing, and laughing together.

What happened on that stage was the result of dedication, trust, teamwork, and a shared love for this art form we call opera.

Our deepest thanks go to these extraordinary young singers, who embraced an experience that was intense, different, and challenging, and gave themselves fully to the process every single day.

The final stretch of rehearsals is underway today as we prepare for tomorrow’s orchestra dress rehearsal and our final performance this Saturday at 5:30 PM at Second Presbyterian Church on Belmont Boulevard.

After two intense weeks of coachings, staging, and musical work, our singers are ready to bring these opera scenes to life. We can’t wait to share the results of the 2026 Bel Canto Opera Scenes Intensive with you!

The Nashville BelCanto Singers took a field trip after rehearsal today to the to hear the fabulous give a fascinating lecture and Q&A on Music and the Mind, and harnessing the arts for health and wellness. It was a very educational, eye opening, and poignant learning experience for all!

After a relaxing weekend, we are ready to resume coachings, rehearsals, and staging for the final week of the Bel Canto Opera Scenes Intensive!
