As we begin the month of May we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, we pause to highlight a topic that is both vital and often overlooked—the mental and emotional well-being of men.
Within the Zeta Male Network, we pride ourselves on being a brotherhood rooted in service, support, and strength. True strength, however, is not just physical—it is emotional, mental, and spiritual. This email serves as a reminder that it is okay to check in, to speak up, and to seek support when needed.
Mental health challenges do not discriminate, and many men silently carry stress, pressure, and expectations without an outlet. Let us work together to break the stigma by creating safe, judgment-free spaces where we can be open, honest, and supportive of one another.
We encourage each of you to:
• Check in on a brother—sometimes a simple conversation can make a difference.
• Prioritize your well-being—rest, reflection, and self-care are essential.
• Speak penly—your voice matters, and your story has power.
• Seek support when needed—there is strength in asking for help.
Throughout this month, we invite you to participate in intentional moments of reflection, connection, and encouragement. Whether through a Brotherhood Check-In, a wellness discussion, or simply reaching out, every effort contributes to a stronger, healthier network. See the attached flyer to help with highlighting the check in.
Together, we stand committed to uplifting one another—not just in service, but in life.
Stay strong. Stay connected. Stay supported.
Yours in Service,
Soror Janella Clark
