🚨 PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: Soccer Player Academy (SPA) 🚨⚽

We’re proud to have Soccer Player Academy rocking with us for the Firebird Sports & Education Community Expo — bringing real skill development to our students and families!

SPA is Knoxville-based and known for private + group training, camps/clinics, and a real elite pathway for player development.

Led by Coach Zee (Zinyor Babiker), SPA focuses on building players the right way; confidence, structure, and fundamentals that translate on the field.

Big shoutout to Coach Zee on the moves toward a bigger facility in Knoxville 👏🏾🔥

We’re excited to have PopStroke joining us for the Firebird Sports & Education Community Expo on March 21!

PopStroke is all about bringing people together through mini golf, great food, and a fun family-friendly vibe.

For the Expo, they’re really showing love — with food for participants, setting up at the event, and bringing prizes to make sure the kids and families have a great experience.

This partnership means a lot to us because it’s bigger than just one event. It’s the beginning of the work we’re building through ABC’s Impact Lab to bring more opportunities, resources, and support directly into our community.

🚨 Partner Spotlight: Better Balance Sports & Fitness 🚨
We’re teaming up with Coach Jamaal Brady + the Better Balance crew for the Firebird Sports & Education Community Expo (March 21) at Pearl-Cohn High School 🏈🔥

This event is part of ABC’s Impact Lab, and while we often serve communities out of state AND internationally, this time we’re bringing the work back home to Nashville. Better Balance will be leading our FLAG FOOTBALL CLINICS, and they support youth, adults, seniors, and special needs programming through sports + fitness.

We’re officially partnering with Bridge League — a gaming platform built to connect community, competition, and culture. This move lets us tap into a whole new lane and meet the youth where they already are.

This is bigger than gaming. It’s about creating space, opportunity, and energy that brings people together — on and off the court.

Off to a great start to Year 2 of Football for Change!

Here’s a look at our projects being completed from last year including new computers for two classrooms, a fully renovated community kitchen, and a new water cistern at an elementary school.

The Firebird Sports & Education Community Expo is HERE 🔥🏈⚽️

On March 21st we will be at Pearl-Cohn High School for a full day of youth clinics, family education, resources, and community connection.

From Jr. Track (PreK–2nd) to ages 8–18, we’ve got soccer, flag football, parent workshops, a resource fair, and more.

Shoutout to our partners: Better Balance Sports & Fitness, Soccer Player Academy, Pearl-Cohn Cluster & Tennessee State HPSS Department for making this happen 💪🏾
