132 books to go with 2 days left!! Can we beat last year's total of 120 books! I think we can, especially FOURTH grade, those 41 books are BEGGING to go back home to the library.

The total value of these books is $2,693! That's almost HALF of Mrs.Hardin's budget next year she'll spend on replacing books!

If you cannot find your books NOW is the time to pay to replace them please! Send cash or check with your student or visit the office to pay in person. Thank you!

Last year we got down to 120 lost books, let's beat that!!

Some ideas of where you can look for books:
The Car under seats and in seatback pockets.
On Top of the Refrigerator and other “up high” parent hiding places used to books safe from pets and siblings
Replaced backpacks and tote bags
Sports, Dance, or Swim Bags
Carpool Vehicle - anyone you’ve ridden home with.
Family Members' or babysitter's house anywhere you’ve gone after school excited to read the book you got in the library.
Under couches and living room furniture
Between the mattress and the wall/headboard in your room and sibling’s rooms.
The toy box or bin
Behind and under dressers, bookcases, and nightstands.
On your bookshelf, beneath and behind it.
On the bookshelf tucked inside a book on your bookshelf, putting back books sometimes they wrap around smaller books.
Inside a Play Tent or Teepee
Outside on the Porch, Deck, or Patio Chairs

Please take some time this weekend to help your student look for their books!
We had 20 books returned/paid for on Friday bringing our total down to 152 lost books!

The total value of these books is $3,060! That's a huge part of Mrs. Hardin's collection not being read and enjoyed by students. Mrs. Hardin spends ALOT of time each year finding the books our students will enjoy the most for years to come.

We are so excited for Field Day tomorrow ensure the day goes well for your student, dress in comfortable clothing, sneakers, a hat (we have very little shade), and bring a water bottle. If you did not return your popsicle permission slip please do so before Field Day begins.

Parents spectating please walk around the building to the fields. Parents volunteering please check in at the office. Mrs. Gascho is coordinating volunteers this year for Mr. Farmer.
