Literacy Night 2026 was a HUGE success!
Thank you to all who came out to celebrate the magic of reading with us.
In the library Grandmother Egan, Mrs.Egan's Grandmother and a former Pennington teacher, returned to share a magical oral storytelling of Little Red Feather.
In the Cafeteria our friends and literacy champions Limitless Libraries brought their super cool button machine and old book pages got new life as fun buttons!
In the Hallway Mrs.Hardin and Mrs.Howell shared valuable grade level Literacy information to support your learner at home.
In the gym we had "cake walk" for books of course! When the music stopped students ran for a number and hoped Mrs.Adcock's wheel landed on their number! The winning number got to select a FREE book to take home!

Thank you to Mrs.Hardin for leading this great night, the committee for planning it, and all the teacher and staff volunteers that made it possible!
