When this mom and her son arrived at E.L.I.‘s House 15 months ago, he couldn’t speak a single word.

Many would have seen limitations. His mother saw possibility.

With relentless love, unwavering dedication, an amazing ABA therapist, and the support of a community that refused to give up, today he is speaking words we once thought we might never hear.

This is why we do what we do. Because every child deserves someone who believes in them until they can believe in themselves

Though her time at Eli’s House has come to an end, her love for our moms and little ones hasn’t. Seeing her stop by for hugs and hold these sweet children again was such a beautiful reminder that kindness leaves a lasting mark. Once part of our home, always part of our family. 💛

Today is Good Friday🤍 A day that reminds us of the depth of Jesus’ Love… sacrifice, redemption, and the promise that even in the darkest moments, God is still at work. This little life is a reflection of that hope… because of Jesus, every story can be made new. We are so grateful to be able to witness that truth every day at Eli’s house. ✝️

Love was truly poured out this Valentine’s Day. ❤️

Our incredible friends from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Nashville blessed the women and children at E.L.I.’s House with a beautiful Valentine’s dinner…filled with delicious food, thoughtful details, and so much kindness.

But more than the meal, they gave the gift of being seen, valued, and celebrated. Our mamas and little ones felt so special and so loved.

This is what community looks like. This is what love in action feels like.

We are beyond grateful. 💗

Lots of exciting things happened in January!
-Makeyla got a car and welcomed her sweet baby boy into the world
-Darlene turned three
-We celebrated three of our wonderful staff members’ birthdays
-Lucia moved into her new apartment
-Some of the kids got to see snow for the first time
We are so grateful for all of the joy January brought and the amazing people in our community 🩵
