Some of the greatest blessings at E.L.I.’s House come through people who quietly serve behind the scenes.

Cheryl Moore, one of our incredible board members, generously shares her time and IT expertise to help our mission thrive. This week, she and her husband blessed our moms with a fun night of bowling—creating memories, laughter, and a much-needed evening out.

We’re so grateful not only for Cheryl’s faithful service, but also for her husband’s kind and gentle support that makes it all possible. Thank you both for loving our families so well. ❤️

When this mom and her son arrived at E.L.I.‘s House 15 months ago, he couldn’t speak a single word.

Many would have seen limitations. His mother saw possibility.

With relentless love, unwavering dedication, an amazing ABA therapist, and the support of a community that refused to give up, today he is speaking words we once thought we might never hear.

This is why we do what we do. Because every child deserves someone who believes in them until they can believe in themselves

In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we just want to say how grateful we are for every single one of you. Your time, heart, and dedication to these women and children help equip them for a successful life after experiencing trauma. Thank you for being apart of the Eli’s House family.

Though her time at Eli’s House has come to an end, her love for our moms and little ones hasn’t. Seeing her stop by for hugs and hold these sweet children again was such a beautiful reminder that kindness leaves a lasting mark. Once part of our home, always part of our family. 💛
