Join us on Sunday, November 1 for a grounding morning of music, movement, and connection with ERTHBRD.

ERTHBRD (Maris Masellis) started DJing as a way to connect with humans and share her love for music, community, and the Planet. An environmental advocate, storyteller, and host of the sustainability podcast Critical Root Zone, Maris brings those worlds together through music — creating dance experiences rooted in connection, authenticity, and the belief that meaningful change starts from within.

As Maris puts it: “If you want to love the Planet, we must first love each other, and if we seek to love one another, we must first love ourselves.” Her sets invite us to practice exactly that — to reconnect with our own bodies, show up authentically with one another, and remember that community and care can start right here on the dance floor.

Our radiant and joyful host Jess Miller will be holding the container for this gathering.
We’ll settle into the space at Millennium Dance Complex and begin moving together at 10:30am sharp.

Join us on Sunday, October 18 for an immersive, full-spectrum dance journey with MetaZen Mane!

MetaZen Mane (Devon Snell) crafts story-driven sets that weave bass, house, global rhythms, tribal percussion, and organic grooves into one evolving experience. Rooted in yoga, sound healing, and underground dance culture, his journeys can move from deep and hypnotic to grimey, explosive, and wildly alive — all while following the energy of the room in real time.

For Devon, the dancer is the main character and the music is there to carry the story. He’s brought that philosophy to dance floors ranging from PlayThink Festival to his own Louisville-based Neon Jungle gatherings, which center music, art, raw expression, and conscious connection. So come ready for a true journey — one with room to explore, build, let loose, and see where the music takes you.

Our warm and grounding host Kathryn Ziegler will be holding the container for this gathering.

We’ll gather in the beautiful outdoor space at Monarch Ranch and begin our journey together at 10:30am sharp. This dance will take place OUTDOORS! Make sure to dress appropriately for the temperature!

Jess Miller (Choosing Joy with Jess), aka JessZeffect, is a DJ with a heart full of gratitude and a playlist full of magic. After a vision sparked her DJ journey, she jumped behind the decks and has been creating musical experiences ever since. Her sets are playful, soulful, and designed to take you on a full-bodied journey — helping you get out of your head, drop into your heart, and remember just how GOOD it feels to move.

Jess has found a special home within the Ecstatic Dance Nashville community, and we love getting to watch her share that joy right here on our dance floor. Expect plenty of energy, heart, connection, and a few musical surprises along the way. Let’s dance, elevate, and choose joy together!

We are so excited to announce the launch of our Embodied Leadership and Facilitation Training program with EDN board members Lauren Russell and Will Sage. Lauren and Will bring nearly 50 years of combined leadership and facilitation experience and we are excited to leverage their experience to grow more authentic leaders here in Nashville.

Learning to lead from an authentic grounded place is the foundation of personal power and not only a pre-requisite for joining our host community and leading our dances, but one of the keys to living a powerful expressed life.

So If you would like to host our dances or just step into more authentic leadership in your life, please join us this Wednesday at 6p on zoom for an 1 hour orientation session about the program.

Hi Everyone, great dance today!

A reminder that this Wednesday from 6 - 7p Lauren Russell and William Sacks will be hosting an overview of our Ecstatic Dance Nashville Embodied Leadership and Facilitation training program.

This is a new program that we're launching to grow and deepen our host community so that Ecstatic Dance Nashville can hold more events each year and continue to grow our community.

If you have ever wanted to deepen into your leadership and facilitation skills this, is an opportunity to do that with your friends and peers using the distinctions of authentic movement and expression.

Lauren and Will bring nearly 50 combined years of facilitation and leadership experence to this work, and we're excited to share some of the distinctions of embodied leadership with you on Wednesday.

Our dream is that we continue to grow leaders at EDN and stimulate more connection and authentic expression here in Nashville.

Join us on Sunday, September 20 for a high-energy, heart-centered morning of movement with Marc Wild!

Marc is a music producer and professionally trained Ecstatic Dance DJ who brings together high-energy beats, world rhythms, mindfulness, and a whole lot of heart. Blending positive and motivating messages with underground bass influences, his multi-genre sets are designed to get us moving while bringing us a little closer to ourselves and each other.

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Marc and his wife Ash Wild host sober dance experiences rooted in celebration, self-discovery, and collective joy. Their gatherings are an extension of what Marc creates through his music — spaces to let loose, tune in, connect, and remember how good it feels to move together.

Join us for a vibrant, genre-bending morning of movement with GLOBEWEAVER, weaving sounds, rhythms, and cultures together into one shared dance floor.

GLOBEWEAVER emerged into the conscious realm in the jungles of Costa Rica, inspired by a meditation on the golden web of an orb-weaver spider. Nashville-based hip-hop artist Mage took this experience as a call to weave worlds together through sound. His multi-genre sets blend world music and cultural songs gathered through his travels with the sounds of his homeland — hip-hop, bass, and plenty of beats to get your body moving.

At the heart of GLOBEWEAVER is a belief that music can be a bridge between cultures in a world so often divided by words. His mission is simple: weave those worlds together through the power of vibes. Expect a dynamic journey full of global sounds, deep bass, playful energy, and lots of room to move.
