This June, thanks to dedicated local program partners like Diane’s Library, The Dollywood Foundation will mail over 3.5 MILLION books to children across the five countries they serve. 📚✨

Just take a moment to imagine that…
3.5 million books landing in the hands of children and families, helping build home libraries, spark imagination, strengthen family bonds, and support early literacy from the very beginning.

We are so proud to be part of something so much bigger than ourselves here in Hillsborough County. Every child enrolled through Diane’s Library receives high-quality, age-appropriate books mailed directly to their home completely free to the family.

One book at a time, lives are being changed. ❤️

Did you know?

One of the largest studies ever conducted on shared book reading followed over 86,000 families across five countries participating in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

The study found that children receiving books at home showed:
🧠 stronger early literacy skills
🗣️ improved language development
❤️ more positive family reading experiences
📖 greater excitement around books and reading

We’re so excited to share the beautiful books heading out this month to children across Hillsborough County. Each title is thoughtfully chosen by a panel of educators and children’s literacy experts to support early development and spark a lifelong love of reading.

We honor what would have been Diane’s 80th birthday, celebrate Diane’s Library’s second anniversary, and mark an incredible milestone of 54,000 books gifted to the youngest minds of New Hampshire.
