All players, including returning players, are encouraged to attend BOTH evaluation dates. Attending both sessions gives evaluators the best opportunity to assess your player and make accurate team placements.

🚨 BIG NEWS 🚨

Pumas is joining Northern Indiana FC!

Beginning in the 2026-27 season, NorthWood Soccer Club's travel program, Pumas, is transitioning to become an official development academy of Northern Indiana FC. We will now play under the NIFC Pumas Academy name. Our local Rec and Rec+ programs will stay under the NorthWood Soccer Club umbrella.

Through this affiliation, we are able to provide our players and coaches with enhanced resources and opportunities — all while maintaining full control over our operations, pricing, and club culture. Our club remains a locally-managed, autonomous non-profit.

We are also excited to announce strategic partnerships with the Bremen and Syracuse communities, making Pumas the official travel program in those areas. These partnerships will allow us to accommodate more players, participate in higher-level competitions, and keep our players local at the most affordable prices in the area. Our initial target is to strengthen our U9-U14 age groups with a future vision of adding the U15-U18 age groups in the coming years to be able to provide a full youth player development pathway.

**New for the 2026-27 season, Indiana Soccer will change to using the player's birthdate to determine their playing age group based on the school year (Aug 1 – July 31). It was previously looking at their birthdate based on the calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31).
