Remembering the heroes we have honored during our past rides:

June 18, 2007, was a tragic day for the Charleston Fire Department (SC) and the nine families of the brave firefighters who died in the line of duty, fighting the Charleston Sofa Super Store fire.

These heroes will always be in our hearts, for they are the reason the Brotherhood Ride was formed.

Master Sergeant William Bishop from Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles was struck and killed by a vehicle while investigating an accident on I-75 on June 17, 2017.

Correctional Officer Joe Heddy from Escambia County Florida Department of Corrections, suffered a fatal heart attack after struggling with an inmate on June 17. 2017.

Wildlife Officer Julian Keen from MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife, was shot and killed on June 14, 2020 when he attempted to stop a hit-and-run suspect while off duty.

Captain Thomas Barber from Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department (FL), died in the line of duty on June 14, 2021 after suffering a medical emergency.

Engineer Douglas Clemons from Polk County Fire Rescue (FL), died in the line of duty on June 14, 2022 after suffering a medical emergency.
