In this Naples Daily News article, we learn that falling 2026 prices won't fix the housing crisis facing SWFL. Check out it to learn more about these key points covered in the article:

- Southwest Florida housing prices are decreasing but remain unaffordable for many residents.
- The median sold price in the Naples area dropped by $75,000, or 11.5%, in March compared to the previous year.
- A significant income gap exists, with Collier County households needing over $200,000 annually to afford a home.
- Despite falling prices, low consumer confidence and high costs for renters create ongoing financial strain in the region.

Southwest Florida housing prices plunge, but many still can't afford a home. And now with other costs way up including gas, may be trouble for market.

More affordable housing is on the way! It was an honor to attend the Wave at Rose groundbreaking ceremony. When complete, this 230-unit affordable housing community will serve working families in Immokalee, bringing much-needed housing to the area. The project will include one-, two- and three-bedroom units and amenities including a pool, playground, clubhouse, covered outdoor seating areas with community grills, and walking paths. 100% of the units will be affordable for families making up to 60% of the area median income, or approximately $68,160 for a family of four, in Collier County.

It was an honor to be included in Collier Community Foundation's roundtable discussion on affordable housing with Senator Rick Scott. We were one of the community leaders engaged in a thoughtful conversation on the challenges facing our community and the solutions needed to move forward, including the newly introduced American Dream Accounts Act, aimed at helping more Americans save for a first home. We appreciated the opportunity to share our perspective and solutions that will expand access, strengthen stability, and create attainable housing opportunities for residents.
