About Harmony United LGBTQ+ Community Chorus

Harmony United LGBTQ+ Community Chorus is a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible community where people can experience the joy of making music together. We bring LGBTQ+ individuals and allies of all backgrounds together through the shared love of singing, creating friendships, building confidence, and strengthening connections within our community.
We believe music has the power to bring people together, celebrate differences, and create a sense of belonging. Harmony United welcomes people of all ages, identities, abilities, cultures, and musical experiences, providing an environment where everyone can feel valued, respected, and included.
Everyone Has a Place in the chorus
Harmony United is intentionally designed to remove barriers that can prevent people from participating in community music:
• No musical experience necessary
• No auditions or try-outs
• No participation fees
• Everyone who registers has an opportunity to participate
• LGBTQ+ individuals and allies are welcome
• A commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and belonging
• No residency requirements — membership is open regardless of where you live.
Whether someone has sung in choirs for years or is picking up a songbook for the very first time, there is a place for them at Harmony United.
Our focus is fun first. Through rehearsals and performances, members have the opportunity to learn new music, develop their musical skills, make new friends, and become part of a supportive community where every voice contributes to something greater.
