🎉 Last week, MedEqual had the privilege of participating in State Representative Nabeela Syed's Youth Fair at Ela Public Library in Lake Zurich!
Shoutout to Rishin Patel for leading our presence at the event and representing MedEqual's mission with such passion and clarity. 👏
Everyone who stopped by our table left with a deeper understanding of a critical but often overlooked issue: when the data we collect in labs isn't representative of all people, the future of healthcare innovation suffers for everyone. Minority underrepresentation in medical research isn't just a diversity issue; it's a public health issue.
It was incredibly rewarding to bring these conversations to our community and connect with the people who need to hear them most. Events like this remind us why grassroots outreach matters.
