The presentation of this amazing gift was overwhelming to say the least. We are so grateful for Perspectives Foundation - .raschke - for their generosity in helping us make our vision of a sport court a reality.

We have already begun the work on the space and are planning for it to be ready in time for our July 19th Open House BBQ Bash Fundraiser, and we hope you will plan to attend!

Last night, after our first day of summer programming at the center, we were presented not only with an amazing donation, but with the hope and excitement of making a bigger impact in our community through our space. We hosted a small event titled “From Warehouse to Wonder” to showcase the generosity of .raschke and his daughters and through their Perspectives Foundation. They brought treats from and engaged with TeachMe families, board members and others in our community.

When Dean heard about us through our Board member he reached out for a way to help, and he and the girls stepped up big time, offering to help us complete our Sport Court vision. Their generous donation of $20,000, their thoughtful “TeachMe Wagon of Fun” and their desire to be involved in the process has been overwhelming and inspiring. We are beyond grateful and are praying that their generosity sparks others to become involved in what we’re building here.

Dean, Mia, and Olivia, THANK YOU doesn’t even scratch the surface.

Members of our Student Advisory Board met last night with our Board of Directors liaison, Katie Minott, to create their mission statement, vote on the executive positions, and plan out volunteer and programming ideas.

“The TeachMe, LB Student board’s mission is to empower students to create an inclusive community within TeachMe,LB by leading with kindness and compassion.” — how cool is that???

Congratulations to: Charlie, President; Skylyn, Vice President; and Alex, Secretary!

My Bible study sisters presented the center with the most generous gift and donation last night. We hosted a final night of study before summer, and they all were invited to the center after having spent the entire year praying for it during our Wednesday night studies

Last fall, the new principal at the STEPS program from (transitioning students with disabilities from the high school level into adulthood) reached out about developing a program for a group of her students. We created an adapted enrichment class for these students which included music, dancing, stretching, stories, fine and gross motor challenges, games and a whole lot of fun! Every Tuesday during the winter/spring 2026 semester these students and their teachers, nurses, and support staff came to TeachMe and we had ourselves a great time!

We are so thankful that they trusted us when we were still building and for all of their support and excitement! HAPPY SUMMER and see you all in the fall 🫶🏻🎊

Our big summer fundraiser date has been SET! We can’t wait to showcase our space and offerings on July 19th! We will also be raising money for , a worldwide nonprofit that celebrates babies with Down syndrome (which our founder, Liza Schramm volunteers with) — so your attendance will make a DOUBLE impact in both our community and the Down syndrome community! SAVE THE DATE!!

Do you love those sweet gifts and questionnaires your kids make for the moms at school for Mother’s Day?? We are giving you a chance to bring your children in to make a gift for dad for Father’s Day!

Join TeachMe,LB for a special Father’s Day fundraiser designed for children to create a gift for the important men in their lives.

During this open-house style event, participants will rotate through three creative stations:

Rock Photo Holder Craft:
Kids will design and decorate a painted rock photo holder using wire and artistic details—perfect for displaying a favorite photo or note for Dad, Grandpa, or another special man in their life.

“All About My Dad” Questionnaire:
Children will complete a heartfelt keepsake filled with their own words, answers, and memories—often sweet, funny, and unforgettable.

Personalized Gift Bag and Wrapping:
Each participant will decorate their own gift bag for their photo holder and questionnaire card.

This is a parent-and-child experience. Moms (or caregivers) are invited to stay and support their child as they create each keepsake together, guided at each station by TeachMe,LB volunteers.

This event is a fundraiser and free to attend with a suggested donations to both cover the cost of materials and make an impact in your community! We appreciate any amount you can give!

Such a lovely morning with 30 women who came to make a bouquet for Mother’s Day!

At TeachMe,LB we serve families by fostering inclusion, belonging, and community through movement, play, and life skills for learners of all ages and abilities. Today, we played with flower design and it was the sweetest, most enriching morning!

This event was sponsored by who thought up the event and helped us execute it with their sponsorship fee and support in promoting the event. donated her time as the host and bloom expert, and made everyone feel confident in the bouquets they left with!

Thank you to all the participants who registered and donated; it is your generosity that helps us further our mission and make inclusive enrichment programming a reality for our community!
