ATTENTION ALL ATV-UTV RIDERS!!!

Sinker Creek is running high and deep in the canyon and will be quite a difficult trip going through. I know that’s just a challenge to many of you so that is why I’m posting this. We have had to shut the gates on both ends of the canyon as we are moving cattle through the area. Please keep the gates shut and respect our property rights. Most of you are good guys so I’m trying to let you know before you go. If you find a gate open that has a close gate sign on it, please shut it. The gate to the east of the canyon should be left open but both gates across the canyon below and above should be closed. As you can tell by the picture, the da@@ beavers have turned the creek channel right through the gate at the upper end. Would suggest you bring your waders. It’s almost knee deep through the gate.

With significant rainfall, snow, and severe weather conditions, we'd like to remind everyone to use extreme caution if traveling into the Owyhee.
Also, Travel with caution in the lower canyon below the dam at the moment. As you can see in the photos, the river is flooding, and the glory hole is spilling over at the Dam. Roads along the river are extremely muddy, and should not be used. Snively Hot Springs is underwater, as seen in the photo of the park bench. Please if you see Owyhee Irrigation before traveling, make room for them as they are working all hours. Thank you and stay safe!
