For You Network activities function in a supporting relationship to connect people with the experts they need. We're here to help reduce violence and heal trauma. We help inform, connect and inspire people in our community. We value the desire to learn from one another. When people are connected to support in adverse situations, our community grows stronger in unity. We are building a “KindYourMin
d” movement---healing from trauma and reducing violence by adopting a kind & mindful compassion for yourself and others as we grow through major life transitions, shifting away from judgement, blame and shame mindsets and towards a nonviolent way of being and thriving--- and we want to hear from you! How do you kind your mind? KYMfest, or Kind Your Mind Festival, Celebration of Life and Love is our main annual outreach event. It is a one-day gathering of people who are aligned to our mission to "Kind Your Mind" by reducing violence and healing trauma. Local food and music, live entertainment and workshops, kid attractions, small businesses and community resources make this a summer festival you don't want to miss! We are eager to bring KYMfest 2023 back to Lakeview Park again this summer! KYMfest, aka the KindYourMind festival, is a FREE annual summer Community Festival
Our mission behind KYMfest is to raise awareness of the impact of violence and trauma and to help bring access and awareness to healing community resources. See www.kymfest.com

WHY: We gather together annually to remember Kymberlee Ann Larsen and to honor the lives of others who have fallen short due to trauma and/or violence. Kym was killed in 2018 in a domestic violence assault and her death drastically impacted our community. We hold this event to shed light on the tragic impact of domestic violence of all forms- physical, mental, emotional, verbal, economic, spiritual. Our trademark motto, , an adaptation of our beloved sister Kym’s name, evolved after Kym’s celebration of life, the first KYMfest (2018). It promotes a mindset of kindness for ourselves and others over judgment, blame, and shame. We aim to create a safe space for people to feel accepted and understood in their struggles, not judged, blamed or shamed. We believe shifts happen not in independence and isolation but alongside other humans supporting one another and sharing the emotional load. WHAT: KYMfest provides direct opportunities to “Kind Your Mind” and transform harm into healing. Hosted as a free family event, KYMfest brings in a variety of human service resources and showcases local artistic talent, inspiring influencers, like-minded businesses and organizations, and delicious food vendors for this all-day festival experience! We are committed to bringing support, healing, and change to people who need it. This event allows attendees an opportunity to network with active resources and seek help in recovering after trauma, violence, and other major life transitions. WHO: For You Network, Inc is the nonprofit who produces KYMfest each year founded by Kym’s sisters, Jade, Heidi, and Chelsea. We are a network of Family Oriented Resources for the Young Old and Under-served and we aim to help connect people to the support they most need. We partner with those who view human beings as naturally kind and connected and are working to shift toxic, violence-laced norms. We partner with those who desire to foster and inspire compassionate, nonviolent ways of being. We partner with those working hard at reducing violence and healing trauma by shifting into kindness and compassion over judgement, blame and shame. For You Network's ultimate goal is to create an in-person community resource center to host support groups, classes, meetings and faciltate community dialogues. We promote nonviolence, mindfulness and emotional awareness and center everything we do around the movement toward accessing and encouraging more nonviolent ways of being. Addressing trauma and healing the emotional body is at the core of our mission.
