Planning to do a casting lesson next week and the week after. Wanting to get a headcount of veterans and first responders to join the class. I don’t have the dates yet. I just want to get a headcount.

For some vets, putting aside pain or trauma even for just a while as a result of hitting the water with a fly rod or tying a fly in the company of brothers and sisters in arms is exactly what they need to start, or continue, their journey of reintegrating back into society or healing the scars visible and invisible to others.

I am creating this page for veterans to connect. I will be offering fly tying classes, entomology courses and casting lessons. We will also be doing outings on the river to practice what we’ve learned.
