Join us October 14 at 4:30pm as we have an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the finished Leadership Nacogdoches Class of 2024-2025 project — a beautiful mural painted by local artist Tracy Pinkston on the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce building! THEN: 12 years ago State Representative Daniel Alders celebrated with his fellow LN class members who installed 2 covered bus stop rest stations in Nacogdoches.
NOW: As a member of state legislature representing District 6, he plays a role in the lawmaking process.

GIVE 5 CLASS!!
Three full class days of fun field trips to community organizations, lunch is provided and new friends await! 8:30-3:30 on Oct 31, Nov 7, and Nov 14

A “civic matchmaking” volunteer program that connects soon-to-be Nacogdoches Area retirees and those already retired with meaningful volunteer opportunities that best fit their skill sets and passions.

Nacogdoches Area United Way is excited to announce that after a successful Class 1 in the spring, Give 5 Class 2 is forming! This is a wonderful program for retirees looking for a meaningful way to spend their time and plug into the community. The program is interesting, fun, free of charge, and includes lunch! Class will be held three consecutive Thursdays: 10/31, 11/7, and 11/14, with graduation planned for 11/21.
