Yall be sure and go follow Hunters Haven and go pay them a visit. They donated us this super awesome comfy blind chair that way them kids can sit tight for longer periods of time waiting on them a trophy buck or turkey.

Thermal= Getting kids into the outdoors, kids learning how important Predator and wild hog control is for your Deer and Turkey Populations…
We need more property’s and more kids yall hook us up with both..

Headquarters is still crunching numbers, they’ve got hundreds of banquets they are crunching numbers on. But let me tell yall, yall showed up and showed out. By rough estimate we are going to have enough to do some awesome hunts for kids this year.
Yall stay tuned bc soon as the funds are released to us I will be planning a turkey hunt for some kids.
These kids will recieve a turkey vest, some turkey calls, and a bunch of other goodies, and be taken on a guided Turkey hunt. And we will give away a few youth pew pews the night before the hunt. This will be a Friday and Saturday event. Being our first hunt I’m going to random draw 5-10 kids just depending how many volunteers I can get…

With that being said!!!! If you are interested in being a guide for a kid to turkey hunt please message Chapter President Jonathan Potts on his personal page.
Requirements to GUIDE a child.
1. 21 years or older
2. Be an experienced turkey hunter.
3. You will have to provide the property that you will guide your child on.
4. Be able to provide 🔫&freedom seeds for the child to use if they cannot provide their own which will more than likely be the case since this hunt is for kids that have never been turkey hunting or on a successful turkey hunt.
5. Be able to provide transportation to and from the property you guide on unless you and the parent that accompany the child agree differently.
6. Possibly pass a background check.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING PLEASE MESSAGE Jonathan ASAP bc we will be having this before the end of this turkey season.
7. Abide by ALL state hunting laws and regulations.

Child requirements.
1. The Main goal is children that have NEVER been hunting. Children that are not fortunate to have the option to go hunting. This is how we keep the traditions of hunting Alive.
If the child has been hunting before and never connected with a turkey that is perfectly fine also..
2. Child will require 1 parent to attend the hunt.
3. Be between the ages of 8 and 15 years old.

Unlimited Children can enter and I will do a random
Draw for the children that will get to attend this years Turkey Hunt!

We will also do a Deer Hunt this year also.

I want to thank every one of our sponsors, donors, and ticket sales. Last night was awesome. If you are interested in helping with next years event, taking a kid hunting, offering your property to take a kid or kids hunting, please send me a personal message. Again thank you all for showing up and showing out for the kids in our community that are fixing to see what hunting is all about, and hopefully take a pic of their first turkey or first deer to school to show their friends.

🔸Thanks to Whitetails Unlimited Mississippi for their partnership and hard work to make last night happen.

🔸We hope everyone had a wonderful time socializing with likeminded friends meeting new ones, left with some great memories and prizes, and taste buds watering for more of that awesome food!

The countdown is officially at 1 day and if you can hear distant country music and the sound of raffle tickets shuffling… that’s just the excitement warming up.

Our Whitetails Unlimited FST Union County banquet is TOMORROW 🎉

Doors open. Smiles wide. Wallets slightly nervous.
Social hour kicks off at 5:30, and the good times start rolling right after.
