Five years ago, Boxerpalooza started with a simple idea: bring people together, have some fun, and raise money to help dogs in need. Since then, it has grown into one of our community’s most anticipated animal rescue fundraisers—and last year, thanks to our incredible sponsors, attendees and volunteers, Boxerpalooza raised more than $50,000.
This year, Boxerpalooza V means more to us personally than ever before.
The beneficiary will be By the Beach Animal Rescue, a local nonprofit rescue that we helped build and now serve on the Board of Directors. We started By the Beach because we saw firsthand just how great the need is for dogs throughout the Grand Strand.
Nearly every day, we get the call: There’s a dog tied to a tree. A family can no longer keep their dog. A dog has been abandoned. Can you help? And our first thought is always: How can we say no?
But without a physical facility, there are limits to how many animals we can safely take in. That’s why a portion of the funds raised through Boxerpalooza V will be designated toward the initial phases of establishing By the Beach Animal Rescue’s own brick-and-mortar facility—giving us the ability to say “yes” to more dogs who desperately need somewhere to go.
Our goal for Boxerpalooza V is to make it the biggest and best yet so we can save more dogs than ever before. The event will once again bring together animal lovers from across the region for live music, adoptable dogs, raffles, silent auctions, pet services, giveaways and more, while providing our sponsors with valuable recognition before and during the event.
But sponsorship is about much more than visibility. You are helping us build the future of animal rescue in our community—providing veterinary care, giving abandoned dogs a safe place to land, and helping us work toward a facility that will allow us to open our doors to animals we simply cannot accommodate today.
Together, we can make this our most successful event yet—and turn that success into something that will continue saving lives long after the event is over.
