Members of the Myersville Lions Club had the honor of attending a truly inspiring Leader Dog for the Blind banquet hosted by our fellow Lions.Together, through generosity and a shared mission of service, over $100,000 was raised to support the training, deployment, and life-changing partnership of Leader Dogs for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
What many people don’t realize is that this incredible program has deep roots in our organization. Lions Clubs International helped found Leader Dog for the Blind back in the 1930s, and we continue to proudly support that mission today. From puppy raising to advanced training, every dollar raised helps restore independence, confidence, and freedom to those in need.We are proud to stand alongside our fellow Lions in continuing this legacy of service.
When Lions come together, lives change. If you’ve ever thought about giving back, being part of something bigger, and joining a family that truly serves its community—we’d love to have you.
