TEN YEARS. Most of you know that when we started the Heykoop Veteran Memorial Car Show and Benefit- we did it in honor of a loved one: Jeremy Heykoop. We honestly thought it would be a one time event. But you showed up- the community. You told us to keep going, keep growing and keep bringing awareness for the cause- Veteran su***de prevention. So we did. The Heykoop family, with a lot of help from family and friends kept going, kept planning, kept organizing.
Today, we held the 10th Heykoop Veteran Memorial Car Show and Benefit. And today, was the last Heykoop Veteran Memorial Car Show and Benefit.
With heavy hearts, we are saying goodbye. But we can't go without saying thank you. Thank you to the car show participants, the donors, the sponsors, and the volunteers. You are who helped keep the show going, and we will cherish the ten years of memories we've made with all of you.
