As one programming year closes and another begins, my heart feels incredibly full reflecting on the leader, mentor, and friend who came before me. 💙

Brenna LaForge your 2025 year as JCI Michigan Vice President of Programming was nothing short of phenomenal. You didn’t just lead a portfolio… you cultivated a culture. You created opportunities, elevated members, strengthened chapters, and poured your heart into programming in ways that will continue to ripple through JCI Michigan for years to come.

Serving as one of your Programming Directors this past year was one of the greatest honors of my Jaycee journey. You saw potential in me before I fully saw it in myself. You trusted me with responsibility, gave me room to grow, and encouraged me to step into leadership with confidence. Because of you, I learned not just how to do the work, but why it matters.

Somewhere between the late-night planning, the laughter, the conferences, the challenges, and yes… even the tradition of getting tattoos together along the way and our working relationship became something far deeper. A friendship I will carry for life. That is the kind of leader you are, Brenna. You don’t just build programs, you build people.

Your impact has never gone unnoticed. Your dedication, your vision, and your unwavering commitment to the growth of others set a standard that inspires all of us who follow. I step into this role fully aware that these are big shoes to fill and I do so with deep humility, gratitude, and determination to honor the legacy you’ve created.

As the 2026 Vice President of Programming, I promise to continue building on the strong foundation you laid. To keep programming growing, evolving, and empowering members just as passionately as you did. And when my own year comes to a close, my hope is to pass this hat and these shoes to the next leader who carries the same fire for programming that you and I share.

✨ So grateful. So excited. So ready. ✨

I am beyond honored and excited to officially serve as 2026 Vice President of Programming for JCI Michigan! This year is already filling my heart with so much gratitude, growth, and excitement for what’s ahead.

Being part of this incredible state board alongside such passionate, driven, and inspiring leaders is truly a gift. I can’t wait to learn, grow, collaborate, and build something meaningful together. My Jaycee journey has always been fueled by one thing, helping others grow, succeed, and discover the leader within themselves, and I’m more fired up than ever to bring that energy into this role.

This year, I’m excited to help ignite your inner passion, support your development, and make sure our chapters and members feel empowered with the tools, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive. You bring the passion, and I’ll bring the tools 💪✨
