Congratulations to Quinn Riess and Willie Leza of the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office on receiving the LETR Scott Bryant Memorial “Unsung Hero” Award.

This award recognizes individuals whose dedication, spirit, and behind-the-scenes efforts make a lasting impact on the success of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics.

Quinn and Willie consistently go above and beyond for Special Olympics, helping raise over $20,000 during the Torch Run, volunteering to hand out awards, and participating in Unified Golf alongside our athletes. Their continued support, dedication, and passion for inclusion do not go unnoticed.

Muscatine Special Olympics is incredibly proud and grateful to have such amazing support in our community. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do for our athletes!

Stop by, grab your favorite coffee and breakfast, and help support Special Olympics athletes while local law enforcement takes fundraising to new heights. Every donation helps provide opportunities and experiences for athletes across Iowa, including our local athletes right here in Muscatine. Your support helps provide sports training, competition opportunities, equipment, and meaningful experiences for the athletes in our community.

Our athletes had an incredible time at the Winter Games in Dubuque Monday–Wednesday! They competed in snowshoeing, downhill skiing, and cross-country skiing, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals along the way. The week was made even more special with a dance and pool party to celebrate all their hard work.
